Emilia, Annie and Lily all got back from shopping together being dropped off by one of the girl's parents. The girls walked in to the door, Lena and Stef were having a party with all their own friends.
"Wow they have a lot of friends," Annie said using sign language.
"Yeah but let's go upstairs after we pick some food up." Emilia says and all the girls agree.

"Did you get enough to eat, Jude?" Lena asks Jude.
"Yeah." Jude says.
Just then The three girls go into the kitchen to look for some food.
"Hi girlies how was shopping?" Lena asks when she saw her daughter and her two friends.
"Good thank you Mrs Adams foster." Lily and Annie says.
"Have some food if you'd like. Lena says.
"Thank you." The two girls say then go to get some.
As the girls go upstairs to Emilia's bedroom Emilia stays downstairs picking food silently.
"Hey Mia you ok sweetheart something going on?" Lena says using sign language.
Lena and stef know how hard it is for Emilia with being deaf using hearing aids and being around loud noises doesn't help.
"I bought a top and skirt but when the lady served us she kept turning round so I couldn't hear even though my friends paid for me then I gave Lily the money cause she payed for it."
"I'm sorry that happened and that this is what your going through me and mom and you will have a chat maybe tomorrow about going to the doctors office to sort something out." Lena said using her sign language.
Just then Stef comes back in the kitchen and sees her youngest daughter.
"Hi ladybug, did you have fun shopping the girls upstairs" stef asked using her sign language and all Emilia did was nod.
This made her look at her daughter then her wife she just shock her head.
"Uh, okay, see this is a dry dish." Lena says using sign language whilst Emilia picks three bottles of water.
"And this is me not caring." Jesus says.
"Watch your mouth, young man," stef says still using sign language since Mia is around.
"What? If you like how he does it so much better, and do It." Jesus says.
"So Jenna told me that Garret is doing some poetry slam." Lena says using sign language but Emilia didn't see as she had her back to her mothers.
"Oh, yeah?" Stef says.
"I was thinking, maybe we could all go if he makes it to performance round. it'd be a nice break from volleyball and television. Might even learn something. " Lena says.
Emilia goes up to her bedroom.

As Emilia leaves the kitchen her family carried on to talk.
"Im in." Mariana says agreeing with her moms.
"Oh, learning Cool" Jesus jokes sarcastically.
"Wow." Stef says.
"I'll go." Jude says.
"Not your thing?" Lena asks Callie since she stayed silent.
"Uh, no, no, just. Yeah, it's not my thing." Callie says answering Lena's question.
