Quinceañera

The night before Mariana's quinceanera Emilia was completing her homework.

Emmy sat at her desk in her room looking on her laptop. Emilia had to research four different designers.

Emilia loves textiles is her favourite class, even though she is a very smart girl Emilia struggles in school because of social development.

She has support from her momma, siblings, friend Annie and Lily as well as Conner.

As she works on her laptop she received a news feed show up. Prisoner Carlo Riva First degree grand larceny in 2004 (12 years) has been caught escaping prison.

When Emilia saw the picture of the father who use to be her father but glad he was not no more ever since Emmy is legally Stef foster and Lena Adams mothers.

There was chaos around the house today with mariana planning her quinceanera along with it being right around the corner and grandma dana flying in for the party moms are stressed. We were in the kitchen with everyone else lexi and mari doing something for the party jude cutting vegetables. "Make them thinner than that sweetheart" mom told jude as he cut a cucumber as mama came in talking about mariana's party playlist "Good job buddy" mom told jude as he did the slices thinner.

Jesus came into the kitchen "what's for dinner" he asked picked up a bag of chips, mom took them from him "not chips my friend".

B and talya came into the kitchen "Hey can talya stay for dinner" he asked mom

"Ooh lexi too" Mari asked as she turned around.

"Sure" mama said. Callie came into the kitchen.

"Hey callie how was you day" mom asked her.  "Uh it was good" Callie stated.

"Uh so callie you know my friend kelsey" Mariana asked.

"Oh the one who lied and said I sold her drugs" Callie asked turning to Mariana. 

"Yeah well she's in rehab" Mariana stated "I'm sorry to hear that" Callie tells her.

"So do you want to take her place in my court" Mariana asked

"I think that's a great idea mariana" mom said standing up.

"Um what do you think callie" mom said from her spot by the sink.

"Uh, sure I guess" callie said "Great " mom said as she sat back down, "We'll just have to hurry and get your gown fitted before saturday" Mama told her "I have to wear a gown" Callie asked and jude chuckled making Emilia laugh as well.

"Well you don't have to do anything" Mariana told Callie.

"And we get to do a waltz" Jesus interrupted.

"It's going to be fun" Mariana smiled "Like eating glass" Jesus said

"Hey shut it" Mariana tells him

"So who does callie get to dance with" talya asked twirling her hair between her fingers.

"Brandon" Mariana stated turning back around.

"Yeah I mean.. But your my date" brandon stated walking behind Talya.

"Well duh" she giggled then callie left the kitchen.

"Hey, B hey" Mom said as Brandon walks into the hall from shutting the door "Yeah" he says turning to mom.

"Everything ok with you and talya" mom asked him. Emilia looks up from reading her school book looking at B a questioning look to her big brother.
