The waning red sun rise was slowly glaring down at the city of Kyoto, Japan. Just three days after the convergence, people were slowly adjusting to the newly placed locations around the world. On the mountains of Kyoto, one small city known as Inazuma was prosperous and peaceful. Though the city itself felt out of place as half of the Tenryou Comission began to survey Kyoto.
Unknown of the strange phenomena that has occurred, all of Inazuma were now on guard and were skeptical of the lifestyle Kyoto, or perhaps the world was at. It was vastly different from what they were used to. Inside of an isolated library back in Kyoto, Vergil was alone, going through the records of Inazuma and realizes it wasn't on any of Japan's landmarks, meaning that it was a new place that happened to appear out of the convergence.
The silence was interrupted as he begins to hear shouts of shock and screams, then a door breaking down in the library. The librarian at the front was now hiding under the desk as bandits begin to walk inside.
Bandit 1: Alright, search the area. Scavenge however we can.
Bandit 2: Wh- What about the authorities?
Bandit 3: Who cares?
The bandits begin to search around as they all see Vergil along, still glancing at the book in his hand.
Bandit 2: Hey, check it out, fellas. This one here doesn't know about what's going on.
Vergil: ... Leave this place.
Bandit 2: Ohohoho... And we got a tough guy too.
Bandit 3: He doesn't seem like much. This guy's only carrying a sword.
Bandit 1: And we got several in our arsenal.
Vergil then closes the book and places it back on the shelf before turning around towards his surrounding enemies.
Vergil: I won't ask again... Leave, or I'll force my hand.
Bandit 1: Okay, pal. That ain't gonna work on us. Take his sword!
Before one bandit could swiped it from his hand, Vergil blitzes pass one bandit, chopping his neck and rendering him unconscious. That's what would've worked on lesser humans, but the bandit gets back up, although bruised on the nape.
Bandit 2: You little...
Vergil: 'He didn't go down? ... I guess I'll have to apply a little force.
Bandit 1: Get him!
All of the bandits were now beginning to charge directly at Vergil. Outside however, one bandit flew out of the front door and onto a lamp post, with something around his body shattering and now rendered unconscious. More unconscious bandits were now tossed out the library as Vergil made quick work of them, not even drawing his Yamato.
He then turns towards the librarian, who slowly got up.
Librarian: Th- Thank you...
Vergil: ... Don't mention it.
He then leaves the library as the police were now at the scene, apprehending the criminals. Vergil leaves, wandering the alleys of Kyoto by his lonesome. He stops for one second, only for him to grip his Yamato and glances at a raven behind his back.
Vergil: ... I won't fall for that trick so easily. Show yourself.
The raven then descends down and forms into a human woman with black hair, wearing a mask that resembled the dark bonelike creatures in the shape of a bird, wearing a black and red top, armored gloves, and a sword on her hip.
