"finally, dipshit." i was greeted at the door by blade, his frown evident. "you took forever."

"sorry! jae is just really fun to talk to." i giggled, pulling him into a hug. "i know you missed me."

"maybe i did," he murmured, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me inside quickly, causing me to yelp in surprise. "i missed you, a lot."

blade buried his face in the crook of my neck, warm breath uneven against my skin.

"and you call me the clingy one." i sighed, a blush creeping up from his proximity. blade pulled us onto the couch, my body falling beside his. "so, what's the plan?"

"i dunno, didn't really think that far ahead." his arm held me tighter, shifting his body so that i was slightly on top of him. "i just wanted you here."

"blade..!" my face went deep red. "dont say things like that.."

"im being serious y/n." i looked down at him, my eyes meeting his own, and my breath hitching. i became suddenly aware of how close we were, our legs intertwined under the blanket, my chest pressed against his, with his arm keeping me down. if i leaned down any further, i couldve kissed him.

"i know you are, blade." i mumbled back, resting my head on his shoulder. "aeons, i love you."

"i dont know where id be without you y/n." his words made me freeze up. i pressed my lips to his cheek, keeping them there for a bit. once i pulled away, i kissed the soft skin of his neck.

"i love you blade. so much."

"i love you too baby." something inside me exploded with joy.

"y-you called me baby! say it again!" i laughed, cupping his cheeks and putting my forehead against his. blade smirked, a true sight to see.

"baby." he whispered, knowing very well how id react. i squealed, my heart fluttering, and my body trembling.

"i could kiss you, right now." i declared, running my hands through his hair.

"i mean, i think its well overdue.." he mumbled, a teasing grin playing on his face. id never seen blade like this, but i couldnt say that i didnt enjoy it. blade truly could be boyfriend material, and not the equivalent of a grumpy old man.

"permission to kiss you, mr blade?"

"permission granted, miss y/n."

and with that, my lips met his, the long awaited feeling of the kiss sending sparks through my bones. i leaned in deeper, tilting my head, never wanting to let him go.

if i went back to my past self and told her every detail of what happened, she wouldnt believe that we could ever fall for blade. cold, mean, rude blade.

once i finally pulled away, my expression was dazed, all i wanted to do was to smash my lips back onto his. and i did just that.

"y/n-" blade didnt have a chance to speak before my lips were on his again, this time more passionately, more longingly than before.

the feeling was so blissful, and it may as well been the happiest moment of my life. i was with the man i loved, after so long of denying my feelings, focusing on academics, i had him.

"you really amaze me in everything y/n. was that your first kiss?"

"yeah, was it obvious?"

"far from it actually." he smiled. 

"i love you."

"i love you so much baby."

"you're so sweet, is it just a today thing or...?"

"nah, ill still be an asshole. just not to you."

"that works for me."
