Chapter 2: Raphtalia & Koneko

The man looks at me and Naofumi.

"So you've chosen those two, eh?" The man said.

"How much for this one?" I asked as I was patting the fox demi-human girl's head gently.

"For both of them, 30 silver coins each." The man said.

I nodded and I gave the man 30 silver coins for the fox demi-human girl. I saw that Naofumi picked a tanuki demi-human girl with brown hair, reddish pink eyes, and two round Tanuki ears on top of her head. The man takes the 2 slaves to a certain area and me and Naofumi follow him, he sets up two small bowls with ink in it and two daggers besides it.

"May I ask you both to put a drop of blood in the bowls?" The man asked.

Me and Naofumi nodded and we both took one dagger, we cutted our fingers and we both poured our blood in our respective bowls. The man takes a ink brush and dips it into the bowl of ink that Naofumi poured his blood into. He makes a circle with the ink brush around the tanuki demi-human girl's chest and it shocks her which makes her in pain and she now has a slave crest on her chest. Next, he dipped the ink brush in the bowl of ink that I poured my blood into and he made and he made a circle around the fox demi-human girl's chest and her screams were louder than the previous girl but she now also has the slave crest on her chest. I knelt down in front of her and looked at her with a calm, gentle and kind expression.

"What's your name, little one?" I asked her in my usual calm, gentle and well-spoken tone.

"Koneko!" She replied happily.

I could tell that she was excited for me to be her new master and I noticed that she is very sensitive but she liked how I was treating her nice so far. I looked over to Naofumi and his slave.

"What's your name?" Naofumi asked her coldly.

"R-Raphtalia..." She said.

I noticed how her voice was so quiet that it was hard to hear what she said. Me and Naofumi take Raphtalia and Koneko to a tailor to get them new clothes, when we arrive at the tailor we see a woman who looks like she is in her mid thirties standing at the counter waiting for customers.

"Ah, new customers!" The woman said.

"So, what do you need?" The woman asked.

"We need new clothes for these two." I stated as I pointed at Raphtalia and Koneko.

"Right away!" The woman exclaimed.

A few hours later, the woman came back with clothes for Raphtalia and Koneko to wear. Raphtalia and Koneko go to the dressing room to put their clothes on. After a few minutes they come out of the dressing room.
