Chapter 20: Where's Hige?

Last time on Battle Cry:

"Do you think Hige and Blue are alright?" I questioned. He sighed,"I do not know, but I hope they are fine. Now get some rest we will depart at sunrise." Toboe and I nodded. Tsume seemed like a natural borned leader. What if he had his own wolf pack? I thought as I drifted off to sleep, Well I shouldn't worried about it, but the hunt for Darcia is on.

Chapter 20:

~~Toboe POV~~

We slept for a few hours, probably 4 hours, before Tsume woke us up. "Get up mutt!" He barked. "I'm up. I'm up!" I stood up and stretched, Terra was already awake. "Lets go we should keep going until sundown," Tsume responded, as he began to walk north. We nodded and followed him. "What are we going to do if we find Darcia?" Terra asked. Tsume sighed an shook his head, "Once we find him then we will think about that, we need to think about finding him first or Hige...we need his help for this." But where is Hige? I thought, when they found me Hige wasnt there. What happened to him? I felt a soft hand on my shoulder, I turned my head to see the owner of that hand, it was Terra. She was smiling at me. "Don't worry Toboe we will find Hige, I bet he's shoving food into stomach." I smiled, ofcourse he would.

~~~Hige POV~~~

People walked by, either glaring at me or showing sympathy towards Blue. We didn't need any of that Blue would make it, I believed in her. I looked down at Blue that was laying on the concrete stairs alongside me. "Blue, are you feeling better?" That day we left the pack I had taken her to a Doctor, he was able to seal her wound, saving her from dying. She nodded, "Its very cold out here don't you think?" She sat up slowly, I helped her into a sitting position. "Sorry I couldn't find a warmer place." "Its fine," she pulled her coat closer to herself. "Do you think their looking for us, Hige?" She asked, at which I snorted. "Them? Ha like they would. If they didn't want to help you survive then no they wouldn't be looking for us." I looked at her, quickly noticing how she looked defeated after what I had said, I regretted it. "...Blue... Im sorry..." "No your right Hige, we might've been useless to them either way."

~~~Kiba POV~~~

After we had stepped outside into the snow, Akira had chosen to go north. I hope the rest are doing ok, I thought. "Kiba, hurry up I want to cover as much ground and get farther from my base so pick up your pace!" That was the only time he had talked to me after hours of trotting, so I listened to him, I picked up my speed. After of endless hours of running my paws where beginning to hurt. "Brother we need to take a rest!" I barked, as I kept up with him. I heard him let out a growl before stopping. "Fine we will stop here for the evening," He told us "twins, scour our surroundings I don't want to be killed by any other packs or humans." The Twins nodded and padded away. I laid down onto my left side, feeling the snow go into my fur was very comforting. I just hoped we would rest the whole day as we did run from morning to afternoon. Lets see who will find Darcia first and who will take Cheza to the mountains.

AN: Hey readers long time since I updated huh. Well look who just updated!! I did! Hah either way I apologize for taking so long. Ill tell you why I took long. I took long since I was writing a book yes a new boom that maybe or maybe not that I will publish, I've been working on the book for a while now and I have been forgetting to update this!
