"Battle Cry" inspired by "Wolfs Rain"

Chapter 24

Last time on Battle Cry:

We would have to run tomorrow to get to the other town, but we would worry about that tomorrow.

---Terra POV---

Laying beneath the stars was even prettier than laying underneath smoke. We had done so much running these past few days that I forgot what sleeping felt like.

Blissful, sleeping was amazing after a few days of little to no sleep. My bones were aching, to the point that it felt like my paws would fall off.

The moon had risen and would stay there for a few hours, so with that I slept.

---Akira POV---

I had led us away from the last town, which was pure trash. No clues whatsoever! I was beyond upset. How could Darcia leave zero tracks? There had to be witnesses or clues as to were he went.

This was the worst! How would we get into Paradise if we can't even find the Flower Maiden? There was no other way in, nor was there another Flower Maiden.

We had arrived to the town, without my knowing. I was too lost in my thoughts. Hopefully there were clues here.

"Master, seems like the other wolves were here before us," Takumi murmured.

I growled, "Let's skip this town then, we have to be one step ahead of them."

Hello there fans of Battle Cry,

Sorry for the long wait of almost a year. I've been busy with other books that I have somewhat forgotten my fanfic of Wolf's Rain. I was more set on writing my books that I didn't work on this. Sorry but I have no idea if I will continue this, I feel lost in the story now as it has been so long. I will be deciding this week if to either continue (updating the last 5 chapters) or just ending further updates. I'm sorry if it ends with this chapter, but I will see what happens. Thanks for staying this far, even through my horrible update days.
