My heart was beating faster and my face was heating up. This isn't happening. This isn't happening! Kaeya isn't in front of me! In the flesh!
"Huh. I've left her speechless." He said.
I didn't realize my jaw had dropped. I shook my head and stammered, "Uh-Uh, hi. I-I’m Fabi."
"Kaeya. But I'm sure Amber has already told you about me."
"Yeah, she has. I've heard a lot about you, actually."
"Have you now?" Kaeya smirked and put a hand on his hip, "Maybe later we can get together and share stories. I'd love to hear about your travels."
Air got stuck in my throat, "O-Oh, I'm not that much of a traveler. I don't have much to tell."
"I find that hard to believe. Why not join us during our commissions at noon? You can share your story there."
My eyes lit up with excitement, "Can I, really?"
"Of course. The more the merrier. I'll be waiting for you." Kaeya walked away into the city.
I hid my face in my hands and squealed. Did Kaeya just ask me out?! He must've, right? I knew he was a flirt and there's no romance in the game, but I can still dream.
I'm gonna do commissions with Genshin Impact characters! This is amazing! I can't believe this!
I remembered the egg and finally took a bite. I hummed in satisfaction. It was so good, like it was seasoned with magic. The only fried egg I'll ever have.

Kaeya never told me where we should meet, but I found everyone at the city gates. Along with Paimon, Kaeya and Lumine, there were two other women.
One had dark hair with two braided loops in the back. She wore a brown, red, yellow and white dress with matching boots and fingerless gloves. Xiangling.
The other woman had off-white hair in pigtails. She wore a white and blue dress with a matching hat and shoes with white leggings. Her church outfit looked somewhat like a maid's outfit. Jean's little sister, Barbara.
"Fabi, you made it." Paimon said.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I smiled.
"Come on, let's get moving." Kaeya said, "We're not frozen in place, after all."
I tried my hardest not to fangirl. He said it!
"Are you feeling alright?" Barbara asked, “Your face is flushed.”
Dear lord, am I that obvious? "Yeah, yeah, I'm ok."
We walked away from the city into the wilderness. Everything was warm and beautiful and bright. It was relaxing with the gentle breeze blowing in my face.
“So, Lumine told us we're a game in your world.” Xiangling said.
“Yeah, that's right.” I said, “You, Barbara, and Kaeya are all playable characters. I use you guys all the time. You're probably some of the strongest characters I have.”
“Wow!” Paimon said, “Lumine is that powerful?”
“Not that strong. It's been a while since I've leveled you guys up cause I need stuff that's impossible to find.”
“How many of us do you know?” Barbara asked, sweetly.
“The game is constantly adding new characters, land, and stories. I've met a handful of characters, but I doubt I'll get all of you. Come to think of it, almost all of my characters are girls.”
