I woke up and sat up in bed. Still here? Yes. While I know this is all real, it almost feels too good to be true. Like I'm gonna wake up on earth at any moment. A part of me still thinks it's all a dream.
I got out of bed and put on my glasses. As I walked to the bathroom, I caught my reflection in the mirror. I didn't realize what the shampoo did to my hair. I thought my hair would look super frizzy since I didn't have conditioner, but my hair looked great. The curls in the front were intact, the rest of my wavy hair flowed down my back, and the purple didn't look washed out.
I admired my hair in the mirror for a bit before getting changed. While I ate breakfast, Amber walked up to me.
“Fabi, there you are.” She said.
“I wouldn't be anywhere else.” I said.
“Grand Master Jean wants to see you as soon as possible. Lisa found something about your stone.”
My heart stopped. The stone. I almost forgot about that thing. I finished my breakfast and went with Amber to the castle. I followed her into a library with Jean, Lumine, Paimon, and a woman wearing a purple and white shirt. She had light brown, shoulder-length hair with light green eyes. She wore a deep purple skirt, black gloves, shoes, and thigh-high leggings. Her matching purple hat looked like a witch hat. Lisa.
“Oh, you must be our new traveler.” Lisa said, “I've heard so much about you.” Her voice was soft and sultry as though she was flirting with me. I had to remember she talks to everyone like that.
“Lisa, this is Fabi.” Amber said.
“Nice to meet you.” I said, “Amber said you found something about the stone I had?”
“Yes.” Lisa said, “It took a while and was harder than I expected, but I found this.” Lisa held up the stone, which started glowing white.
“Hello?” A man's voice said, scaring me. Was it coming from the rock?
“I don't know if you can hear me, but my name is Galor. I am a powerful wizard of another world. Listen to me carefully. There is another wizard of my world who calls himself the Baron. He seeks the Mora Stone, which contains the power to travel to any universe imaginable. In the wrong hands, the Mora Stone could destroy the multiverse and reality itself. To protect the Stone, I activated it for the first time and sent it to the first universe I thought of. I don't know who you are, but you must protect the Stone with your life. When the time comes, I will summon you to my world so we can defeat the Baron once and for all. Because the Stone has never been used before, it will be unstable for a good while. Good luck and protect the Stone.”
The Stone stopped glowing. Wizards? Multiverse? What?
“Mora?” Paimon asked, “Does that mean the Stone is made of money?”
“I think Mora means something else this time.” Lumine said.
“Do you understand any of this, Fabi?” Jean asked.
“Yes… No… I don't know.” I said, pacing the floor, “What the heck just happened?! I'm really supposed to believe that a random wizard from another dimension is trying to destroy time and the Stone was sent to me?!”
“Uh… Yes?” Paimon awkwardly said.
I sighed, “I'm sorry, this is… wild.”
“He said the Mora Stone is unstable.” Jean said, “What do you think that means?”
“Since the Stone is used to travel to different worlds, I can only assume he means that it will take you to different worlds at random.” Lisa explained, “But we can't know for sure until it actually happens.”
