CHAPTER SIXTEEN

It's been a good two months well actually amazing. I've been going to school and hanging out with my best friend.

Dating my boyfriend and watching as Athena and Jake get along for once. The only thing that has been off is Thora and Anthony they keep to themselves more often and I don't know but I don't mean to seem like a bitch or anything but...

Like she has gained weight and I mean I do not at all mean it badly. She still very much looks beautiful.

I'm sitting down in the cafeteria with Cyprus' hand on my lap. I've been talking to Athena about hanging out later after school.

We are interrupted by Thora and Anthony sitting down across from us. I smile and look and Thora smile and starts eating the fruit on the tray.

" Guys," Thora says making all of us stop talking and look at her, " I need to tell you all something," she says looking at Anthony and he smiles putting his arm around her.

She takes a deep breath I look at Athena and she shrugs her shoulders with a smile. " I'm three months pregnant," she says looking at all of us.

I can't help but let my jaw drop out of shock. Athena squeals out of excitement and gets up and hugs Thora.

The group congratulates them with hugs and smiles. " Damn, you finna be a dad," Cyprus says sitting back down next to me putting his arm around my shoulder.

" Why don't we all go to the skate park to hang out after school" I suggest they all agree saying that is a good idea and I smile. Cyprus turns to me with a smile " Hey, ima leave right now I'll be right back" he says kissing me on the cheek before getting up and walking away with Jake.

" Where are they going?" Athena asks me I shrug " I don't know he didn't tell me" I say confused as to why he did tell me where he is going.

She smiles and pats my shoulder "Ahh it's okay, fuck him" she says getting some of my chips and eating them. I slap her hand away from my bag. She smiles and sticks her tongue out at me.

I laugh shaking my head.

The bell rings and we all get up with our things leaving to our classes. I walk to my art class and  walk in I look around to see if I see Cyprus and he is not here.

I sigh before sitting down and taking my art project out. I start working on it as that class start. It's been thirty minutes into the class and still no Cyprus. I texted him and called him and no response.

I look up when I hear the door swing open " Mr. Salvatore, your thirty minutes late." The teacher says with disappointment.

He smirks " oops" is all he says as he walks in. The first thing I notice is that he is high I sigh. He's been getting high every day lately for the past month.

He sits next to me " My love" he says leaning a little to forward towards me. I shake my head in dismay. He leans his head on his hand looking down at his phone as I draw.

" Babe" I hear Cyprus says turning to look at me I look up " yes" I say " wanna skip the late two class with me." He says smiling that adorable smile of his. I bite my lip contemplating if I should or should not.

" Please" Cyprus says placing both of his hands on my knees and doing puppy dog eyes I smile and nod. " yes" he says exited and kiss me.

This is why I love this boy.

I think. The bell rings and he waits for me to put my things in my bag. He grabs my hand and leads my out of the school. We walk out the doors to meet up with Jake.

He looks and me and nods towards me " she wanted to" Cyprus says and Jake nods we walk into Cyprus' new car and I get in the front seat, Cyprus in the driver seat and Jake in the back seat.

Cyprus drives us to a parking lot I front of a Wesley lake. We park " what are we doing here?" I ask both of the boys. They look at each other and they smile before Jake pulls out a baggy of..... omfg weed.

" what are you doing with that?" I ask Jake who passes it to Cyprus who takes out a grinder. " Smoking it" Jake says in a duh tone. I watch as they grind it and then roll it up.

Cyprus puts the blunt between his lips then pulls out a lighter and lighting it. He takes a pull and then blows the smoke out. It smells strong.

I open the window. Jake has his own blunt smoking it then leaning back into his seat. " you want some?" Cyprus asks me holding the blunt to my face.

I push his hand away and shake my head. " no, I'm fine" Cyprus stare at me blankly " oh come onnnn, don't be boring." He says holding the blunt to me again.

I sigh and take it. I put it in my mouth and suck in and inhale the smoke. It hits my lungs and I cough out the smoke. Not being able to keep in the smoke.

Jake start laughing " here pass her the water" he says between laughter. Cyprus passes me the water and I drink it down. He places his hand on my laps as he takes another pull.

" want another" he asks I nod not knowing why I take it and take another long pull it hits my lungs and I cough again passing it to Cyprus. I start feeling a buzzing in the back of my eyes my body feel unreal yet living at the same time.

I kinda feels amazing. I feel it like it's consuming me my body feel fuzzy in a way. I feel out of this world like my mind is everywhere but I'm just sitting in the car.

I turn to look at Cyprus laughing with Jake looking at me " girl, he feel it don't you" Jake laughs out. I smile unable to hold it in. Cyprus holds the blunt out agian and I take it smiling " try keeping the cough if so it works better" Jake says while taking a hit of his own. I nod.

I take another hit and feel the magic smoke fill my lungs and I hold on the cough that my lungs want to shoot out. I drink that water and it helps with the cough.

I sit back relaxing in the feeling. I turn and see Cyprus and Jake doing the same thing I smile and turn on the music. Playing Immortals by 21 Savage  I smile and lay my head back. I take the blunt from Cyprus agian and I take a good ass hit.

I smile at the buzz I feel. We stay there for a while and let the buzz lighten a little before heading to the skate park. To meet the group.

I still fell like the world around me is a fade away. I love it.

We walk to what seems like our friends i burly understand where I am. Someone sits me down on a bench. I hear Athena I smile to myself " what the fucking is wrong with her" I hear Athena yell I see her rush up to me and taking my face in her hands assessing me.

" She's fine just a little high" Cyprus says looking at me and turning back to his phone, he's been looking at his phone to much for my taste. Athena sits down next to me and I lay my head down on her shoulder " Heyy" I yell at Cyprus.

He turns to me with his eyebrows up. " yes" he says moving closer to me " get off your phone for once" I tell him leaning off Athena and moving towards Cyprus and grabbing his face moving sloppily.

" pay attention to meeee" I whines kissing him on the lips he chuckles before deepening our kiss. I pull away and watch him as he gets up and starts skating with everyone else I sit back with Athena.
