XIII. Bandaid?

Lily's POV

„LILS.." A VOICE drags out, softly tapping my cheek.

I groan and turn over to my stomach, „Fuck off."

They tap my shoulder this time, slightly shaking it. „Hey, get up."

I move away from their touch. „Lily can't come to the phone right now. She's busy dreaming about how nice it'd be to have a peaceful fucking sleep."

They reach over and grab my duvet, yanking it off my body. I whine at the sudden loss of warmth and sit up in my bed. „Now that was-„ I open my eyes to be faced with a smirking Pope, Kiara and JJ. „Get out." I mumble, falling back into my bed.

Pope pretends to act offended. „How rude! Treat your guests with respect."

I furrow my eyebrows. „You invited yourself in, not me."

„Correction," JJ speaks up the duvet in his hands- of course he was the one who took it. „Your dad actually let us in."

I roll my eyes. „Son of a bitch." I mutter.

„Hey!" the voice of my father shouts, making my eyes widen. „I heard that!"

„Oh would you like a bandaid?" I call back to him, sassing him out.

If you couldn't tell by now, getting woken up after good sleep was not my strongest point.

Kie chuckles as she pulls my hand in an attempt to get me up. „C'mon, we're going to the outdoor movies and you're coming, no excuses."

„Outdoor Movies? Kieee." I whine.

„I bought gummy bears just for you." she tells me, making me immediately sit up.

„Gummy bears? Oh, I like gummy bears." i childishly grin.

She rolls her eyes. „I know, so get up."

„Ah, ah, ah," I stop her. „If I go, will gummy bears be involved?"

„Yes, Lillian. Gummy bears will be involved." she confirms.

I jump out of bed and walk straight to my closet, grabbing out a long sleeve t-shirt and some shorts. I turn my back to the group who still haven't moved an inch. „You're Holding us up, chop chop." I tell them.

Kie Rolls her eyes and walks out of my room. „Mr. Johnson?" she calls out.

„Yeah?" dad shouts back.

„Your daughters on drugs!"

„Im so glad they're still doing this," Kie grins as she leads us towards the large screen. „Keep calm, carry on."

I snort. „That sounds like something I'd put as my Instagram caption when I was twelve."

The girl rolls her eyes at my comment. „Back to the OBX life, you know? Aren't you glad that I made you come?" she continues on.

„Ecstatic." Pope sarcastically says.

„Lily's couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest." JJ says as we reach a clear spot, placing our things down.

„Mmm," i agree with him as Kie walks away to get us drinks. „My bed was too."

Kie rolled her eyes at our attitude and found a clear spot in the middle of the growing crowd of families.

Aas the four of us set up our small area I lokk up at the rest of them. „Have you guys heard from John B today?"
