Yvonie walked down stairs, she seen her mother setting up for Thanksgiving. "Who's comin over for tomorrow?" She asked as she kneeled onto the wall next to the dining table. "Cousin's, aunt's, grandma's, grandpa's" her mother said while still laying plats onto the table. Yvonie rolled her eyes, "okay, and mr.clents family is comin to right?" She asked her mother as she moved peaces of her hair out of her face. "yeah, why?"
"No offense ma, but his family is..kinda weird." Her mother looked at her with a confused expression. "Weird how? I don't even understand why you don't like him in the first place." Her mother argued with a sigh. "Because of how he talks, looks, and just treats me? Not that it matters anyways." She answered with a shrug. "Your his step daughter so of course he's gonna tell you right from wrong." She argued back finally facing her daughter. "Tell me right from wrong.. Is that how you really see it?"
"Look, it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. Don't ruin it" her mother kiesha said and yvonie kinda just grew more and more annoyed by the second. Henry then walked inside the dining room giving kiesha a kiss, she smiled and returned the action back. "What are we talking about here?" He asked looking at kiesha then yvonie. "Nothing that concerns you." Yvonie answered with a sarcastic smile. "Mori." Her mother glared at her. Henry just let out a laugh. "Whatever." Yvonie then walked away. "Well, we should get ready for that meeting luv." Henry said to kiesha and she nodded. "Yeah, just let me finish this up real quick." She said turning to him. "you can finish it later, come on. We'll be late" Henry then walked out the room. keisha sighed before sitting the plates down and going upstairs to get ready.
A few minutes later passed by, Keisha and Henry finally left and it was just Kaykay and her step siblings at the house. Kaykay was God knows where. Yvonie decided to go downstairs into da living room. "So, how long are you guys staying." She asked enzo and lex. "Not long, why?" Lex asked looking up at her.
"Just curious, you guys seem like ya don't want to be here anyways." Lex rolled her eyes at her while enzo just sat there listening in on their conversation. "Rollin yo eyes for what tho?" Yvonie asked as she started eating some of the grapes sitting on the counter table.
"Can't roll my eyes? God, you people seem to just think you can control everything. And I don't appreciate how you talk about my dad." Lex added on, and was like acting all snappy for no reason. "Nobody said you couldn't roll them, just choose wisely who you roll them at cuz I ain't the one. And all I speak is da truth..can't get bad at that yo." She laughed as she popped another grape in ha mouth. "I don't have time for this." Lex said leaving the room. "Your sister is something else dude." Yvonie said turning to enzo. "And you think your not?." He sarcastically asked which yvonie just laughed to. "Okay now, I didn't say that-"
"Ya didn't have to." Enzo said and walked away. "I've got friends comin over, just act the part-" Yvonie shouted for all of them to hear. "How many?" Lucian then came down the stairs and asked, he looked like he was going somewhere.
"Well a few, yk Ethan and dem then eva and Rana. Well she ma cousin but still-" she answered and he just nodded. "Where ya goin?" She asked him cocking her chin.
"Out with friends." He simply answered, before yvonie could reply, she heard a knock on the front door. She ran to it and opened it- "HEYYAYA-" she shouted as all of them had walked through the door. She had jumped onto rana all excited and shi.
"Girl-" Rana let out but yvonie just ignored her, "where ma hug at tf?" Eva said muggin her. Yvonie then went up to her and gave her a big hug, "okay, ya squeezin me yo-" Eva grunted a bit, "shut up, should've Neva asked for it."
"So you just gone ignore us?" Dd asked the heck out of here, "boy." She gave them all three a hug, ddot had lifted her up being all extra. She let out a laugh, "nigga if you don't put me down-" ddot ignored her and continued carrying her.
"A nigga finna eat good tomorrow-" notti had said jumping on the couch in the living room. "YUHHH!!" Yvonie shouted, as she wrapped her arms around ddot head. "I missed y'all frl-" she said gettin all emotional and shi- "UP- don't start dat cryin shi." Ddot warned lookin at ha, she had flipped him off and had got out of his hold. "Just know that my steps siblings are here btw." She suddenly said as she put her hair in a ponytail.
"Oh fr? I haven't seen Dem in the minute." Eva had started as she sat her purse down on the couch next to notti. "Alright, I'm gone." Lucian said walking back down the stairs. Yvonie had nodded, "dang he fine as heck-" Eva whispered into yvonies ear and she couldn't help but Chuckle. "Shut up-" she said through laughs. "Aye ma nigga Lucian-" notti let out and they dabbed each other up. "Good lookin ma boi, you stay safe out in these streets." Lucian couldn't help but laugh at his words. "Fasho." Lucian said sayin bye to everybody and was out the door.
Yvonie then jumped onto evas back and they almost fell, "I should slap you bruh."
