"Demoiselle!" Silver rushed in, only got Neuvillette's arm to stop him.

"In a moment." He glanced over at you, his eyes filled with worry. He raised his hand which summoned a blast of water, knocking the gun out of White Lily's grasp. Silver immediately rushed over to Navia while the melusines ran over to you and began to help you slowly out of the cave. Meanwhile, Neuvillette had White Lily in a choke hold, and his eyes started to glow a bright blue.

"Oh, scared now?" He taunted, the grip on her increasing as she violently thrashed around, begging for air.

"If you even dare to breathe near my wife, I will make you endure the longest and most painful death sentence the oratice can give you. And don't worry, I keep my promises. " He dropped her immediately after she passed out and left the cave to take you from the melusines.

"Thank you for your help, but I'll take it from here." With one swift movement, Neuvillette picked you up, while the melusines who were helping you ran back into the cave to get White Lily.

"Love, I do know that you just barely made it out alive, but I do have a question about your-" He paused as he walked to the aquabus, while Silver held Navia. Melus carried the broken bits of her claymore and her vision while the melusines walked in front with White Lily, in case anything were to happen.

"Maybe later." He mumbled, watching your eyes slowly close. He noticed your exhaustion, the fatigue etched into every part of your face.

AFTER ARRIVING BACK IN THE COURT OF FONTAINE

"Everyone, look! It's the Countess, Monsieur Neuvillette and Navia!" A reporter yelled. Immediately a huge swarm of people surrounded the group of you, while the Gardes took White Lily away.

"Monsieur, over here!" Reporters took photos from all different angles. He hurriedly walked past them while Silver, Melus followed him to the nearby hospital.

"We need these 2 in the ER now." He carefully laid your body on a hospital bed, gently kissing your slightly bruised head.

The next few hours were some of the most boring but tense moments of Neuvillette's life. He waited patiently as doctors walked in and out. Sedene visited him halfway through your surgery to tell him that all his trials have been postponed till next week.

He was sure that by the time Navia was finished being operated on, you would be too, but unfortunately, he had to wait for a few more hours. He stayed up all night, waiting for any updates about you. He learned that Navia would be discharged in about a week, but still no update on you. When the sun began to rise, the doctors finally walked out, exhausted from the long surgery.

Neuvillette immediately followed your nurses to your room and found out you were staying in room 1812. As soon as the nurses left after their checkup, he walked in and sat down next to you.

"Where did she hurt you?" He asked, examining your body with his eyes. You gave him a weak smile, slowly moving your hand over his. "Archons, this is all my fault. I should have walked you back to your house and maybe this wouldn't have happened." Slow rainfall began to descend over Fontaine.

"It's okay. I'll be okay." You assured him. "Well mostly okay." He gently cupped your cheek as the rain fell heavier.

"Hydro dragon, hydro dragon. Don't cry." You looked up at him, his eyes glassy.

"I'm okay, but you're not. Is there anything you want right now?" He asked, pressing a kiss to your hand. He was slowly blinking the tears away, as the rain calmed down and stopped falling.

"A glass of water sounds nice." You relaxed into the bed.

"What kind? There are many choices so you get a variety of options. How about-" You immediately cut him off.

"I think I'll have regular water, thanks." You let out a cough, your whole body tensing in pain.

"Of course. I'll bring you that now." He began to walk out, but you pressed the 'call nurse' button before he left.

"What in the name of Celestia was that?" He asked. "What is that for? What did you just do?"

"It's to call the nurse you dummy. Have you never been to a hospital?" Soon, a nurse rushed in, her eyes glancing over the two of you.

"Is there anything that you need, countess?" She asked.

"Can I have water please?" You asked and she nodded and headed straight out.

"So, about that vision of yours, when did you get it?" He asked, gently taking your hand in his.

"It appeared in front of me when I said I would leave Fontaine, but I was trying to figure out a way to stay." You murmured, taking a long sip of the cool water. "I just didn't want to lose such amazing friends I have here and I didn't want to lose you. I guess the cryo archon decided that somehow I was deserving enough for a vision." You placed the water by the bedside table, and when you turned back, you found a stray piece of hair annoyingly near your mouth.

"Believe me darling, you deserve the vision and significantly more." He tucked a stray hair behind your ear, and a soft blush tinted your cheeks.

"How's Navia?" You asked him. "Is she okay?"

"She's.. a bit shaken up but she's doing okay for now." He answered. "I did receive some information from the Gardes. White Lily has decided to plead guilty to avoid trial, and unless you decide to press charges against her, she'll be sent to the highest level of security in the fortress."

"I don't want any public attention on this case, and I know Lady Furina will make this a very dramatic trial, so I decide to not press charges." You answered, taking another sip from your cup.

Meanwhile, Navia woke up in a daze. She noticed the white walls and the amount of bandages in her body.

"What happened? Where's y/n?" She asked frantically as Melus and Silver helped her up.

"It's okay demoiselle, y/n is currently recovering, but she's stable." Silver responded.

"Shortly after you were sent to the hospital, I sent a commission for a new weapon for you." Melus told her. "And I believe this belongs to you." He handed her the vision, the geo symbol glowing brightly in her hands.

"What about White Lily?" She asked nervously, fiddling with the edge of her hospital gown.

"She pleaded guilty and y/n doesn't want the public to know what happened so Monsieur Neuvillette is planning to send her straight to the fortress." Silver explained, brushing hair off of her face.

"You can rest demoiselle. Silver and I can both tell you are tired." Melus responded in a calming tone. "Silver and I will let you rest for now."
