'Ugh...this is just horrible!'
Thought Frank as he sat down alone at an empty table with his tray.

Ray had got send home because he was feeling unwell, leaving Frank alone.
But, to his demise, he did not stay alone long.

He liked very few people from his school, so it rarely was a good thing if someone tried to talk to him.
But this was even worse than a classmate trying to figure out the homework...

"Iero, your hair is inexcpectable! And where's your uniform?"
A girl asked with a devilish grin.
Her name was Sarah, one of the student council, and she took her job way too seriously.

"At home."
Frank mumbled in response as he shiver some of the cafeteria food, wich even for a private school for rich kids was horrible.

"That's not where it's supposed to be!"
Sarah scoffed at his anwser before shoving a note in his face.

It was what she was known for, giving everyone a detention slip becouse of her oh so holy dress code.
Frank was pretty sure that dress code was her religion at this point...

He looked at the note and then back at Sarah, looking her dead in the eyes as he casually ripped the detention slip.
Then he just went back to eating.

"I- what?! You can not just- just- YOU CANT DO THAT!"
She screamed, shoving another note towards him, wich he ripped again.

After 2 more notes and a lot more yelling, she stormed off.
Frank knew she was gonna get a teacher, but Ray wasn't there anyways so it's not like he'd care I'd he got send home.

And sure enough, a couple minutes later when he was mostly finished with his dry and bland food that tasted like cardboard, Sarah came back with a teacher.

She kept yelling and whining around about how he didn't follow the dress code and ripped the detention slips.
The teacher just looked annoyed about the situation, not even about Frank breaking the rules, the whole school was used to it at this point. ...well...everyone except Sarah.

After a couple minutes the teacher looked at Sarah.
"Okay okay, I got it Sarah. Shut up."
The teacher sighed and looked at Frank, while Sarah looked like she was ready to give the teacher a detention slip aswell.
"Frank just go home, and atleast wear your uniform tomorrow...for our sanity, please."

And with that the teacher walked away, leaving Sarah pretty satisfied.
As if Frank cared about getting send home, well he did, but only because it meant he could go home early.

He didn't even bother to finish his food  just throwing it away, and grabbing his stuff to head home.

He went straight to the buss stop, not having to wait long before the buss came. He quickly stepped inside and glanced around. Since it was only 12:23 the buss was pretty empty so he had options on where to sit.

As he sat down near the back he did notice one more thing, a horrible smell.
He was used to bad smells but this one was horrific, but somehow it seemed familiar...

He looked around for the source of the smell before his eyes quickly focused on someone, a girl he was relatively sure.
He tried to remember why she seemed so familiar, but he couldn't place his finger on it...

She was pretty, jet black hair that was around shoulder lenght and messy, red eyeshadow smudged around her eyes. He couldn't really tell if her eyes were brown or green, it was a beautiful mix between the two colours.
As his gaze shifted down to take in her outfit, some black skinny jeans aswell as a Metallica shirt he could appreciate, her eyes met his.

In that moment others would e looked away, embarrassed by beeing caught staring at someone. But not Frank, if he was observing someone, he didn't care if they knew. Not even if they were pretty. She may have been flat and a bit chubby, but that didn't stop her from beeing absulutly pretty.

He held eyecontact with her for some seconds before her gaze quickly shifted away in a nervous way.
Frank just went back to looking at her more, noticing a black backpack on the seat next to her.

The backpacks zipper was half open, multiple sketch books and sketchpads visible inside it.

Despite the girl beeing pretty and probally talented if she draws, she still smelled worse than 20 sweaty and drunk middle aged men in a moshpit at a black metal show...
But that would've been easily fixed with a shower, or two.

The girl looked back at Frank and their eyes met again. She seemed uncomfortable beeing observed by him, wich wasn't his intention but he wasn't about to back down.

After a couple seconds of eye contact, the girl spoke up.
"..what?..."

Frank's brain glitched for a moment. The other person's voice sounded much more masculine than he expected.
But their voice was sift and hesitant, as if even a wrong flutter of his eyebrows would make them feel insecure and run away.

"Nothing, sorry. You're just pretty."
He finally mustered to say, his lips curling into an apologetic smile.

Theater person blushed a bit, their face showing how they didn't expect the compliment.
It took a second before they responded.
"T-thank you..? You look cool too!..."
A small smile playing on their lips, but they still seemed nervous.

"You know, you look familiar somehow, but I'm not sure why."
Frank said out loud as he thought, hoping the other person could mabey drop a hint from where he seems to remember them.

"...s-sorry, I'm not sure I've seen you before."
They seemed to be thinking aswell.

Suddenly it hit Frank, they looked similar to Ray's new 'totally just a friend'.
"By chance, do you have a brother named Mikey?"
He asked excitedly.

The other person's eyes lit up a bit.
"Yeah, how do you know him?"

"He's a friend of a friend, I met him just yesterday at a show. He's a nice kid, you two look similar."
He said with a friendly smile, before adding.
"My names Frank by the way."

The other person nodded with a shy but friendly smile, that Frank couldn't help but find cute.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Gerard."

"A pretty name for a pretty person."
Frank said before even really thinking, but it's not like he regretted saying it, it was the truth afterall.

"Oh thanks, your name sounds good too..."
Gerards cheeks slowly got covered in a light pink blush.
Frank could tell they weren't used to receiving compliments, wich was sad becouse in his eyes they deserved to hear them a lot.

Frank gave a small, happy grin in response.

He glanced outside and noticed it was his stop already.

"Oh, my stop, gotta get out. See ya, and tell Mikey I said hi!"
Frank waved and quickly left the buss, his jacket almost getting caught between the closing door of the buss.
He waved Gerard goodbye a final time as the buss drove off before walking up to his home with a smile.
