FATE

His Agony

The moment Jimin heard those words, he didn't wait a second and immediately did what came into his mind.

SLAP!

Lia gasped loud enough  and it was just not her. Everybody including Jungkook, Yeonjun were shocked.

Soobin's face turned with the force applied and tears formed in his eyes due to the pain.

"Tell me Soobin! What did I not give you? Since our good for nothing parents left us I have been trying to provide you everything I can. I have given you every freedom, never been too strict... Taehyung cared for you like his own little brother. Sometimes I wouldn't be bothered but he would. How can you do this? What respect have you given us?" Jimin spoke completely disappointed.

He could not believe his little brother would do something like this. How could he betray the hand that fed him?

Jimin was about to punch him again but Taehyung and Jungkook held him back. 

"Jimin, he must have a reason, you know he wouldn't go to such lengths." Taehyung said.

"I don't care, there is no justification for this."

Soobin looked up finally, his heart clenching after hearing his hyung. "Hyung, I know.... I am the worst but...but there was no other way okay. Everybody has a job, someone is doing something and what about me? I am a failure. All my life... I have done nothing to make you proud. In the middle of this, I fell in love deeply. I-I tried to avoid it but I couldn't. I did all this because I wanted to make her happy. I wanted to be that someone who she could show off."

Lia cried silently and Yeonjun just looked down already knowing the reason for his theft.

Soobin continued. "I first had the thought of this when it was her birthday. I didn't have money to even buy her a card! I didn't have anything I could give to her like other boyfriends do. The offer was too tempting for me but I assure you hyung... I was going to quit it this month because me and Lia had started thinking about marriage. This is all my fault. I am so sorry..." 

He kneeled down and cried hiding his face. Taehyung hugged him along with Yeonjun. 

"You know Mr Min, this is the best proof you could have that you will never find someone who will love your sister as much as our Soobin. Please let this wedding happen." Taehyung spoke.

Jimin didn't say anything but there were tears in his eyes. He didn't know he was going through that much.... His carefree attitude always seemed to hide the fact that he was so anxious.

"I-I didn't know you were going through this much. But this doesn't mean I forgive you. From next time if you have any difficulties you can come to me, that is what I am here for." Jimin spoke monotonously but everyone knew how much it meant to Soobin.

"I agree to this wedding. Let's make it at the earliest." Suga spoke which immediately lightened the atmosphere cheering up everyone. Soobin stood up still with tears on his face and looked at Lia who immediately ran to him and hugged him. 

"Yahooooooo! My Bf is getting married!" Yeonjun screamed while everyone laughed at his silliness.
