9. Romeo - Juliet II

Benvolio: No, Romeo! Don't do anything stupid! You heard Mercutio, right? Romeo, I don't want to lose you too! Think about... what would happen to us, to Juliet? Please! This will only make things worse!

Romeo: He killed my best friend... How can I forgive...

Benvolio: Romeo!! For Mercutio's sake, listen to him. Please! I won't stop you from fighting, but do it when it's very much needed, when it's right! Fight for your Love's victory, not for revenge! Revenge will be taken when your love wins!

Romeo: (Touched by Benvolio's words and throws the sword) You are right, I'm sorry!

SCENE 8

(Juliet standing on the balcony of her room, staring at the night sky)

Juliet: Oh, my Romeo. He must be going through a lot right now and see my situation, I can't even be by his side. (Gasps) Oh God, let's be together forever!

Romeo: (Standing below the balcony) As you wish, my Juliet.

Juliet: Oh, Romeo! I have been waiting for you for so long! The ladder is there, climb up.

Romeo: (Climbs and enters her room) So, you want us to be together? Then be it! I have a plan.

Juliet: What plan?

Romeo: Our families won't let us live together, so let's just flee. Will run away to some isolated town where we will live our own peaceful life.

Juliet: Oh, Romeo! That would be great! When will we leave?

Romeo: Tomorrow in the middle of the night. Everyone will be sleeping at that time. So, get ready, my Juliet, I will treat you like a Queen. (Gives a sweet peck on forehead and leaves)

SCENE 9 

Romeo: (Whispers) You are ready?

Juliet: (Whispers back) Yes! Let's leave!

Narrator: Both of them leave Juliet's house and escape the town in no time. They were happily walking away and travelled a long distance already till the time, Juliet's family got to know.

SCENE 10

Lord Capulet: How could she!! She disobeyed me! What about you all? Juliet left the house and nobody was aware of it? How could everyone be so clueless!! You all will be fired if you won't bring her back by tomorrow sunset! Do you get it? Yes, Tybalt? I was counting on you!

Tybalt: I appologise, sir. I will bring her back by hook... or by crook! And, Romeo is going to regret his decision! (Leaves in search of them, angrily)

SCENE 11

(Next Evening)

Juliet: How peaceful! I love the beauty of the woods! And... it's more beautiful when I am with my love, Romeo. (Blushes)

Romeo: All this beauty is nothing in front of you, my Juliet. 

Narrator: The time limit that Lord Capulet gave to Tybalt was about to end in 3 hours. Romeo and Juliet were enjoying their romantic escape and the beauty of the woods, while the next moment, Tybalt and his minions found them. He had already found them and kept an eye on them for a long time, meanwhile, he called Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet too.

Tybalt: Romeo!!!! I will kill you today!!!(Romeo and Juliet turn around to see Tybalt, Lady Capulet, furious Lord Capulet, Tybalt's people armed with swords, and... Romeo's family as well!!! They were furious too and against all this!)
