Enya and Wysteria frowned at the gods before them.
Thor stared back at the girls with a very serious, determined expression. Sif stood at his side, though her own expression was less serious than that of the future king.
Loki and Fandral watched the girls carefully as they stood off to the side."We don't have any powers. What powers are you referring to," Wysteria asked.
Thor spoke, "You both do, and it's exactly why we must train you now and figure out what they are!"
Enya opened her mouth to argue, but Sif intervened as she whispered to Thor, "Ah, I think it's best if we allow their protectors to work with them on it. When it's time for us to work with them, we will."
Thor nodded his head slowly, agreeing with the dark haired warrioress.
He summoned his brother and friend over.As he led them away from the girls to whisper to them, Sif sat down with the sisters.
"I know he seems... Tough, I suppose is the word? He's under much pressure right now, what with looking after midgard and the friends he has there, while trying to protect his people, and trying to protect you girls. Thor is many things, and one them is definitely kind. I do hope you won't hold his aggressive behavior over him for long."
Wysteria cracked a smile and replied, "Of course not. I understand."
Sif smiled at the girl, though she casted a glance to Enya who sat stoically.Wysteria bumped her sister with an elbow, causing Enya to jump slightly but smile at Sif nevertheless.
As the men walked back over, Thor said, "Your protectors will take you to the training arena and work with you both to decide what your skill sets are."
Before walking away, he gave them each warm smiles and a curt nod before following Sif out of the library which had become a meeting place for the group.
The sisters looked up at the gods before them who seemed slightly uncomfortable, though Wysteria couldn't figure out why.
Both men cast frowns at one another, though the usual disgust and hatred that was in their eyes as they looked at each other was now replaced with something else entirely.
Something they knew they had to keep secret from the sisters, at least for now, otherwise Thor might kill them both... Or better still, he'd most likely knock them down and place Mjolnir atop of their chests and leave them be for a while.
Thor was known to do that from time to time, Loki knew all too well...
Shaking the thought from his head, Loki smiled down at Wysteria as he held his hand out for her to take and pull her to her feet.
Fandral copied this and pulled Enya up, as well.
As they began the walk from the library to the training arena, Wysteria was the first to break the silence.
"What exactly do each of you do? I don't imagine you're both about to teach us the same thing."
Loki looked down at her and answered, "You would be right in that assumption. I am a producer of magic, a sorcerer... Fandral is a warrior."
"One of the best," Fandral interrupted with a smug smile, making Enya grin at his confidence though it could also be arrogance.
Loki rolled his eyes and muttered, "Right, whatever. Anyways, as Yin and Yang you each will most likely be different in your fighting skills."
Confused, Enya asked, "I thought we had powers?"
Fandral answered this time, "Yes, you both do. But that doesn't mean you both use magic to fight, or both use weapons. That is what we must figure out today."
The girls stared in awe at the huge training arena.
Weapon caches lined one side of the far left arena wall, while the right wall was lined with training dummies.
Wysteria released Loki's arm as she ran to the weapon cache, in awe of a silver sword with a sun encrusted into the hilt.
As she held it in her hands, the weight was perfect for her frame.
Fandral smiled, recognizing the call of a warrior.
Loki scowled, having hoped she'd be more like him with the magic.
Enya stared at her sister, completely unenthused by the weapons.
"I should have seen this coming since you first talked to Sif," Loki commented offhandedly to Wysteria, who only smiled sweetly at him.
Fandral stepped forward and said, "You will be training with me, then. If you are the warrior, Enya is the sorceress. So she shall train with Loki."
The sisters both looked carefully at each other before looking back to their 'teachers'.
Loki made his way over to Wysteria and smiled as he spoke quietly, "You and I will still have our study time later, after training."
She smiled and nodded her head, blushing profusely as he kissed the top of her hand before taking Enya outside to begin their training.
