Wysteria laid on the floor of her room, staring up at the high ceiling.
Loki sat somewhere in the room, though she didn't know where exactly.

"What are you doing exactly," Loki asked from his place in the chair closer to the bedroom door.

"I am concentrating," she replied simply.
Confused, he asked, "On what?"
"Counting," she said with a smile.
The ceiling did not have tiles like some did on earth, but she had decided to imagine it did. And she was counting all of the invisible tiles.

Loki was very confused by her and what she was doing. He had no clue what she was counting, unless she was counting in her mind for the sake of it.
With a sigh, Loki closed his eyes to meditate. It wasn't something many knew he did, but sometimes it helped him.

After the fifth time of losing count, Wysteria sighed and sat up, turning to look at Loki.
She didn't speak for fear of interrupting whatever he was doing. So she quietly laid on her stomach, her chin resting in her hands, and her feet kicked up in the air.

She decided to study every detail about him. Like the way his raven black hair was always slicked back for the public's eye. The way his straight, narrow nose complimented his cheek bones.
She thought about the few times she had seen a genuine smile on his face, and how it lit his eyes up in the process. She couldn't help but smile as she thought about the trickster.

"You should know that your staring and constant thoughts are affecting me," he said, a smirk now present on his lips.
"My thoughts," Wysteria asked as she rolled her eyes.
His eyes opened and looked straight at her as he said, "Oh yes. Your thoughts are just slamming into me right now."
Sitting up, a grin present on her face, she asked, "Okay then. What am I thinking?"

"How amazing and good looking I am, of course," Loki said amused by her reaction as her eyes grew wide, before yet again rolling.

"Confidence suits you," she said with her own smirk before laying back down on the floor and closing her eyes.

Enya sat down on the floor with her back pressed against the bed, a book on asgard astronomy in hand.

Fandral paced around the room, concern filling his chest. What kind of threat was in the palace?
Would he have to fight to protect Enya? He wasn't worried, so much as he wanted to feel more prepared. Though he'd been less prepared before on many journeys and battles with his friends.

"Fandral, I need you to sit down. And calm down, please," Enya said, her eyes never leaving the book.
He looked at her and sighed, stalking over to a chair and sitting down.

Enya looked up over the edge of her book and noticed how tense Fandral seemed. So an idea popped into her head.
"Tell me something about you. Anything," she said, closing her book but keeping her thumb marking her page.

Fandral looked at her with furrowed brows, thinking about what he would tell her. He settled on an easy memory, one he often thought of.

"Most of my happiest memories as a child took place here at the palace, with Thor, Sif, Hogun, Volstag, and even Loki. We didn't all have strife or turmoil. We were all kids, with dreams of being great heroes."
A smile spread across his face as he remembered a time that they played heroes vs. villains, and Loki and Sif were the villains. Fandral, Hogun, and Volstag even then were the Warriors Three, and Thor was a warrior all on his own.
Loki, being the trickster he was, had hid himself in the bushes and conjured an illusion of himself climbing the giant climbing tree in the vineyard, and subsequently being "trapped" by the warriors as they all tried to get him.
It was the distraction, allowing Sif to run out and 'kill' the heroes. Of course the boys said it was unfair, but Sif reminded them that no villain fights fair. That was a lesson that Fandral never forgot.

As he told the story to Enya, she smiled at the way his eyes were bright as he recounted the memory.
His worry had subsided and laughter filled her ears. She was glad to have help him ease his mind, no matter how temporary it would be. It helped her to feel more calm if he was.
