Object of Obsession

          Over the next week Celeste has been summoned to do a Trial every single evening. She has gotten to know some people around the camp and learnt a lot of information about Killers and how the Trials work. So far she has met Mikey twice, The Huntress, Legion and some others that she'd rather not even think about until it's time to meet them again. With the Bloodpoints she has earnt Celeste has been able to buy some gear to help her with the gens, which, somehow, she has managed to nail without making almost any mistakes. 

          Every evening, at dawn, all of the Survivors gather around the massive campfire and their names are being picked by the people that pay big money on bets. This is a rich people game, messing with the little people and gaining nothing but entertainment from it. Celeste hears her name called first. Jake and Kate join her as well and then a woman called Ada, who is far too overdressed for the occasion, but Jake doesn't seem to mind. The four Survivors make their way into the main building where they get assigned rooms. In less than ten minutes from their name being called they're trapped in the machine that brings The Survivors into the Trial. Celeste just hopes it's not the massive warehouse -  the stone floors make for a very painful fall. Before she can get into the machine, one of the nurses stops her and  hands her a package. 

''Your sponsor would like you to wear these.''

          Celeste opens the package and realizes that Ada is not the only one wearing uncomfortable clothes in this Trial. The package contains clothes. Celeste hasn't had to change her outfits yet, she had been looking forward to it, but the clothes she got makes for an uncomfortable experience even outside of the Trial. She gets dressed and tries to adjust the far-too-tight, far-too-short leather skirt so it doesn't ride up her ass as she's running. At least the top is kind of cute, it's a maroon colored off-shoulder cashmere sweater that feels like a soft hug. It will be a shame to see it pierced by the hook and covered in blood.

          Celeste opens her eyes and takes in the surroundings, she is in an unfamiliar place once more.  

     ''RPD,''  says Ada and looks up at the big sign in an almost longing way. Celeste starts following her up the steps, but once she realizes that Ada's shoes make more noise than necessary she decides to go to the right. Something makes her feel like the Killer would probably start out near the main entrance, although, her instincts have not been the best during these Trials. Celeste notices a strange looking chest, they're usually made of wood, but this one seems to be made of a much stronger metallic looking material.  Her eyes find one of the light poles and starts working on the generator lying under it. Celeste keeps looking around, trying to pay attention to any strange noise. Over the mechanism waking up under her fingers she hears a scream coming from where she came from and thinks to herself that maybe her instincts aren't too bad after all. The moment she hears cries and those damned heels she knows that Ada is in trouble and that trouble is coming right towards Celeste. She leaves her gen and starts running towards the stairs that lead into the building, making her way up the stairs just in time, because she hears another loud cry from Ada and a deep chuckle. Ada gets hooked right beneath her feet, where she remembers seeing a hook as she ran up the stairs. Thankfully the killer runs off inside the building. She quietly makes her way down the stairs and helps Ada off the hook. 

     ''Wesker.''  Ada rolls her eyes.

          Ada points up and both women make their way up the stairs to help Ada with her wounds. Just as Celeste is about to finish sterilizing the wounds, she notices a thick leech-like worm crawling up Ada's arm and she gasps loudly. Ada notices the worm too and her face wrinkles in disgust, she points towards one of the metal chests on the other end of the hallway. They quietly make their way to it and Ada shows Celeste that the chest contains a spray that gets rid of the creatures.
