Celeste freezes in her spot, in disbelief. Wesker is actually.. training her?
Wesker raises his eyebrow at her like a teacher who asked a question and didn't receive an answer would. He remains leaning against the car, but he raises his left hand and watches it curiously.
''You better start running, kitten, I still have to hunt down the rest of them.'' Celeste realizes that he means what he says when the tentacle starts forming around his forearm. She lets out an audible gasp, surprised at herself for actually moving from her spot and running right past him. He keeps his promise and gives her a head start. Just as she leaves the garage door she runs right into Carlos who catches her in his arms, but Celeste looks back in horror.
''Carlos, run!'' She looks at him with pleading eyes, trying to run the opposite direction, but Wesker has already spotted them both and Carlos seems to have decided to intervene in the chase. Wesker doesn't seem to care for Carlos, he takes the first opportunity to hurt him, without as much as looking at Carlos when he slices Carlos's back open in one smooth move. Carlos screams out in pain, but stays in front of Wesker, giving Celeste a chance to put more distance between them.
Celeste glances over her shoulder just in time to see Carlos knocked down by Wesker. She turns back without thinking - seeing Carlos on the ground bleeding out confuses her for a moment, she forgets that she's in a simulation. But before she can make a step towards him, she feels the full force of Wesker's power. He doesn't hold back and Celeste finds herself practically flying through the air. She feels all the air leave her lungs and then some, the only thing stopping her from going another 10 feet is a hard wall. She barely manages to get on her feet. Wesker is slowly walking towards her, his left hand raised, getting ready to attack her again. His expression reminds her that she has got to run. Before she can make more than a couple of steps, Wesker has already closed the distance and she's cornered between some cars, a wall and a Killer that she now realizes has an unexplainable obsession with her.
''The Flashbang, Cielo, use it,'' Celeste hears Carlos's voice from somewhere behind Wesker. She doesn't think twice and for the second time in her life she blinds herself when her intent was to blind the Killer. Through her blindness she hears Wesker's chuckle and dull pain against her chest. When Celeste regains her vision, her whole world flips as Wesker picks her up and throws her over his shoulder.
''Cielo, hmm? I didn't know Carlos spoke Italian,'' Wesker talks to himself, his voice somewhat more dangerous than before. Celeste watches Carlos crawl in the direction she's been carried off, but she notices Feng cautiously approaching him. Celeste feels like it's her fault Carlos got knocked down, the guilt washes over her anew when Wesker's gloved hand slides up her bare leg and she welcomes it without even thinking. She doesn't attempt to wiggle out of his grasp and not too long after her flesh is pierced through the same exact spot as always, the pain just as excruciating as ever travels through her whole body.
''Don't move, Cielo,'' Wesker says in a snide tone and stalks off towards Carlos. Celeste isn't able to see them, a huge wall of cars is blocking her view, but by the sound of it Feng gets hurt and moments later Wesker walks past Celeste with Carlos slung over his shoulder. There is a Hook not too far from Celeste and Carlos's scream affirms that he hasn't managed to escape Wesker either.
Wesker returns to Celeste and gets very close to her, forcing her to look at him by holding her chin and turning her head towards him. She looks at him without breaking eye contact, although all she can see is herself in the reflection of his sunglasses, shallow whimpers of pain betraying her.
