CLEOPATRA DILON ALI 4:45 PM - THREE WEEKS LATER (THURSDAY) CLEO's BOUTIQUE
It was another long day at the boutique for Cleo. Clients were coming in slowly and sales were coming slowly but surely.
This past week had been extremely hard on Cleo. Taelin broke up with her Monday due to her lack of compassion and selfishness. Cleo saw nothing wrong with what she did.
Cleo could care less about Taelin nor them breaking up. She deeply cared about her sister avoiding and ignoring her for the last three weeks. Cleo had pissed Lotus off several times and they would go a couple of days without talking. Lotus would still check up on Cleo even when they refused to talk to each other. The consequences of her actions were hitting her in the stomach now, Lotus didn't even check on her or anything for the last three weeks.
It was a result of her putting herself and her money before anyone. Something her mother had taught her, but not her sisters. As Cleo rung up her last customer of the day, she sighed as reality hit her. She was becoming exactly like the woman she said she wouldn't become.
Instead of Cleo changing her negative actions, she allowed herself to get even worse. Lotus recommended therapy before she stopped talking to her, but Cleo wasn't ready to face herself. Femi expressed her disappointment in Cleo, and expressed the same sentiments as Lotus.
As the customer exited the store another person pushed in. Cleo looked up from the register speaking, "Sorry we're closed."
The woman disregarded Cleo comments as she looked through the racks of clothing turning her back to Cleo. Cleo walked from behind the counter watching the woman.
She watched the bronze woman shop for clothing. Cleo was loving her fashion choices. A white crop top and white skirt clung to her curves. She wore grey heels and lace stocks bringing out the white in her clothing. Her hair was giving Cleo life. The short pixie cut really brought her face, even though Cleo couldn't see her face.
