Bopping her head up and down she listened to the mellow beat. As she sat in the chair she tapped her pen against her pad. She looked around the studio attempting to pull inspiration from the room. Her eyes darted over to Dana who wore a smile as she talked to the producer.
Giselle frowned as she watched her interact with her producer. Giselle rolled her eyes in irritation, she hated how Dana followed her around everywhere she went. She couldn't even piss by herself.
She threw her negative thoughts to the back of her head as she leaned against the wall. She allowed the beat to consume her thoughts. As they noted danced around her brain it surrounded a familiar person, her wife.
"Amera." Beyonce mumbled to herself as she opens her eyes.
Full of inspiration, Beyonce threw her pad down jetting into the recording room. She grabbed the headphones putting them on as she stood in front of the mic smiling ear to ear.
"Start it over." Giselle husky voice spoke into the mic. Giselle head went up and down as she began to sang, "Girl I know you can't help but to be yourself around me."
Beyonce got into the groove of the song as she continued singing about the memory of her introducing Amera to the world, "Ah, we don't need to world acceptance. They're too hard on me, too hard on you."
As their memories flooded her thoughts, she sung about her wife gracefully, "And I know you had it rough growing up, but that's okay."
Giselle finished the song with the biggest smile. The song had Amera written all over it, and it made Giselle stomach explode with butterflies. She imagined exactly how Amera would react when she heard it. Giselle imagined Amera's pretty smile she would wear and she danced to the song.
Giselle exited the studio smiling. She sat back down in her chair, "Play it back."
The producer played it back. The song was perfect, Giselle just needed to layer her vocals and add her adlibs.
"She gone love this." Giselle thought to herself.
"What inspired you to make this one?" Dana asked Giselle who was still smiling ear to ear.
Giselle cleared her throat, "Umm.. past experiences."
"Lotus?" Dana questioned.
"No.." Giselle lied as she hopped up, "Past lovers, preferably my ex husband."
"You said gir-"
"Dana, let's not." Giselle said holding up her head. She pushed the door open to the recording room again, "I'm in a creative mood and I don't need you destroying that with your negative ass thoughts okay?"
Dana stood tall as she answered back to Giselle, "I would watch my mouth, Giselle."
"I would watch yours." Giselle spoke angrily, "Don't call me that, only my wife-"
