Ashleys P.O.V
harry just walked away without me giving him an answer. then zayn walked over.
"so you finally pushed harry over the edge huh?" he said sarcastically not realizing that I was almost about to cry because of how harry was and how he was angry for no reason. i think he finally realized that because of my silence.
"oh god im sorry,i didn't even know Ashley,that you were-"he said trying to recover the comment he just made.
"no,its fine.its fine zayn it's not your fault."i said wiping a small tear that had escaped from the side my eye. by this time my green eyes had turned to more of a turquoise,and they were so red. i was so shocked because i had no idea what i did to Harry to make him so mad.
"im sorry Ashley,i was just joking. i really didn't realize you were crying. why is Harry acting like that?" there was a short pause,but i just stayed quiet with my arms crossed. i went and sat down on a bench and zayn followed behind me. he probably knew it was going to be long because he looked like he had made himself pretty comfortable.
"so tell me why Harrys mad?" he said. i could actually see the concern in his eyes as my lips fluttered open,but no word actually came out.
"i have no idea, what i did wrong to make him so mad.especially at me." i said trying to hold back tears which had clearly not worked.
then there was a sound that came from far behind me and got louder every second. i had realized what it was a few moments later.it was Harry quickly trying to catch up to me and zayn,but i had no idea why. when he finally came over he had cut my words of when i was talking to zayn.
"get up."he said sternly placing his hand on my shoulder, i didn't answer because i could tell that he was still mad by the way his hand was clenching my shoulder.
"get up."he said a little bit louder as if i didnt hear him the first time. i still didnt move,i only stared at zayn. right when Harry was going to say it again i had whispered something that apparently harry didn't hear it.
"what did you say?"he said like he was trying to intimidate me.
"she said no." zayn had said which kind of surprised me because he's usually the one staying quiet.
"hey zayn just stay out of this,im just trying to talk to ash-" zayn had interrupted Harry again.
"well im sure she said no once and she's probably not going to say it again, so I'll say it for her.N-O."
i was clearly as shocked as harry was but my expressions were not as noticeable. i could tell this made Harry mad but he wouldnt do anymore than yell,i think. he slowly walked over to where zayn was sitting and weirdly just sat down right next to zayn.
"so Ashley, go on with your story."harry said obviously trying to mock zayn,which i thought was kinda childish. i just stared and then zayn started to talk.
"Harry dont start thi-"zayn only got half through his sentence because harry startee to copy him.
"stop."zayn said only to be followed by Harry. then zayn got up and stood over Harry gesturing im to get up.Harry did but i knew this would lead to nowhere good.
"whats wrong zayn?" Harry said sarcasticly.zayn shoved him a bit and Harry shoved back. by the time it couldve gotten out of hand Louis and liam and niall were already over there. Harry was still trying to get zayn when he had stopped,but it was so sudden. then when he looked at me his eyes were tearing up and he just walked over to me and slammed the magazine on the table and just said "why?"letting a tear slip out and walked away and left to somewhere through the crowds of people at the fair.
i grabbed the magazine and looked at it and then i had realized what was wrong. on the front of the magazine it was a picture of niall and i at the mall when we were at taco bell and he had his arm around my shoulder and underneath the photo it said "does one directions,niall horan,have new girl?" then it has another picture of me and Harry kissing by Harrys car and said" or is she Harry's? and who is this this mysterious beauty?"
i had realized thats why he was being so defensive when i was talking to zayn and niall and when i hugged Louis. and then jade and ellie walked over and jade of course grabbed the magazine and saw that her and Louis were on the magazine in a picture up in the corner and it said something about Louis new 'material'.and if they were serious or if she was just extra baggage. and then another older picture of ellie and niall kissing when we first met backstage. immediately ellie ripped the magazine right out of jades hands and started asking how they even got that picture not even noticing the front page. they started fighting about who was cuter in their relationship and then i stopped then ripping the magazine out of their hand and showing them why Harry was like this.
they asked if it was true but i denied it and they still didn't believe me so they asked niall and then finally they believed it was true. I couldn't believe harry though.
did he honestly think i was cheating?
the next day niall and louis both posted pictures of them with their new girlfriends kissing them. i was happy for them but i was sad about Harry. so i sent him a text seeing how he was only to be ignored. then i sent another seeing if i could come over. i waited a few hopeless minutes realizing he wasnt gonna text back and i threw my phone down on the couch cushion beside me. a few minutes later i felt a little buzz and a ring that came from my phone. it was Harry.he had texted me back.
"come over at 5. luv u"
i was so happy he text back but i was more surprised that he still loved me. i thought we were over.
i really do love Harry.
