Today marks two
The day that i met you
Actually, that day was a week or 2 before
Or am i confused and was it more?
Last year was a celebration
We spoke all night long
Sang song while we sang along
We were on cloud nine
To think this year would be any different
"To many years more" we said
Though I remember
Something went wrong that day, did it not?
I know i cried
Today marks two
The day that i lost you
Was a month ago
Actually, that day was about 3 or 4 months ago already
Or am i confused and was it more?
All that we left behind
The sadness, the anger
The regret
All of it is just a memory
Today marks two
The day i never look back at you
That day
Is today
