Once I'm awake,
i can see the reality.
I'm the only one who knows.
I'm the only one who has seen.
The real you.
A you that you yourself told me not everyone sees
A you that you yourself told me only I could witness
Once I'm awake,
i can see the reality.
Knowing you,
you wouldn't do what my dreams say you would.
Knowing you,
you are waiting for me to do so.
Knowing you,
that's what you always used to do.
You don't like sticking to promises you've made.
You've shown that with both high's and low's
Once I'm awake,
i can see the reality.
You are one that has changed.
For better or for worse.
I mean,
you did promise you would.
I do hope it was for the better
but from what I have seen,
you aren't as kind as you used to be.
You didn't change in the way that you promised me.
I can still see that you're stuck in your ways.
Because once I'm awake,
I can see the real you.
