I know it couldn't be fixed,
I saw it coming the moment i first saw you
I got the feeling my mind was playing tricks on me before.
A feeling that ended up being true.
I know it couldn't be fixed,
When you think about it,
There were many moments like this one.
Many similar instances.
But I stepped in, and prevented it from going too far.
Prevented it from breaking apart.
I stayed strong in those moments.
For us.
When you couldn't.
I know it couldn't be fixed,
The many nightmares I had.
They proofed me wrong when i believed it could.
Countless sleepless nights.
And countless mornings,
With you promising me something like that won't ever occur.
You said it yourself.
I know it couldn't be fixed
The moment you were faced with another similar instance.
The moment I couldn't stay strong for us.
I was so tired.
This one time,
it was up to you
But you lost your composure,
When you needed to be there for me.
You lost what little sense you had left,
When you immediately gave up on me.
My nightmares,
They really came true that day.
It went too far.
I broke apart.
You tried to fix it.
I can say that at least,
you tried.
Trying was all you could do, anyway.
But enough was said.
Enough was done.
Enough was known.
Enough was scarred.
I knew we couldn't be fixed.
