"My, what took you so long. I was beginning to grow bored." I say twirling the wine glass between my fingers.
"My apologies your highness, the council's decision was harder than one might have hoped." Haechan said bowing while entering my chambers.
"I trust my great dukes and count were able to solve the task given to them?" I say chuckling.
"Of course, your highness, we would never dare to fail you." Haechan said smiling back taking a seat on the couch across from the one I was on.
"Cut it with the titles Haechan, you know I hate that distant way of speaking when we are alone." I sulk.
"I'm sorry Selene, you know it's hard to switch back to informal talk immediately." Haechan tries lighting my mood.
"I will forgive you only this once my handsome count." I flirt back.
"It seems like you say this quite a lot my gorgeous queen." Haechan replies chuckling.
"Watch it, I'm quite hungry you know." I say in response.
"Then by all means Selene, have a bite." Haechan smiles with lust clouding his eyes.
"Come to me." I reply, eyes darkening.
Haechan got up from the couch across from me and slowly made his way by my side. Before I had the chance to react, he had pressed himself to my lips. After we disconnected, saliva following suit, he tilted his neck to the side, presenting it for me.
"What a pristine neck. It's such a shame there are no marks on such lovely skin." I say lustfully.
"Please devour me." Haechan responds breathing heavily.
Without a second thought, my teeth were on his supple skin, biting into his neck, feasting on his delicious blood. Moans coming from the man filled the room as the bite was full of pleasure. His hands roamed my figure while I was enjoying every drop I could take from him before he would become too weak. I continued drinking until his hands began to get quite clumsy, and then I immediately retracted my teeth and licked his wound, healing it with my saliva.
"Selene, what's wrong?" Haechan says concerned and a little slurred.
"I am sorry Haechan, I took too much." I reply angrily.
"It's okay my love, you know I am yours." Haechan responds gently.
"No, it isn't okay, I lost some of my control for a moment." I huff.
"We all do from time to time." Haechan says rubbing my back.
"No. I may lose my composure in other facets but not in my blood control." I say grabbing my wine glass I had previously sat down on the table.
"Selene, stop. You told me that sometimes when there is blood, it becomes hard to control the thirst. Quite a few of the boys had decent injuries, mostly all of them had blood on them as well, whether it was theirs or others. I am sure you just were influenced by that." Haechan assures.
"Battlefields make me struggle with my composure. Not seven boys with a little blood on them." I fire back still angry and confused by the situation.
"Arguing over this matter will not do us any good your highness. Please let us lie and enjoy each other's company." Haechan says trying to pull me out of my frustration.
"Fine my royal advisor. I'll take your 'advice' this one time." I say chuckling helping him towards the bed.
After I help a little loopy Haechan make his way to my bed, I help him remove some clothing as well as some of mine. We then both swiftly get tucked into the covers next to each other.
"Comfy?" I say placing a hand on his cheek.
"Extremely. Please forgive me for taking a nap instead of partaking in more exhilarating activities with you." Haechan says starting to drift off.
"Only this once." I say chuckling while the boy falls into sleep.
