"Here are the prisoners your highness." The military commander announces hauling in 7 figures chained to each other with bags covering their heads.
"And what makes you think I am in the mood to accept prisoners." I replied coldly looking upon my commanders' beautiful features.
"I assure your highness will love the presents I have brought back from conquering the nation of Garah." The captain answers with grace.
"Then do your best to please me young commander." I responded back staring into his eyes.
"Her Highness, Great Ruler of Moros, Siren of the West; may I present you with these humble gifts as an honor to you in your defeat against the fallen nation of Garah. Your first gift, all of the beautiful jewels in the treasury of the isle kingdom including their national treasure, Saphire of the Sea. Although the gem doesn't hold an ounce to your beauty, I hope you will find it pleasing. Secondly, the national symbol of Garah, Poseidon's Trident. Said to have been wielded by the first ruler of the nation and both the royal family's and country's most prized possession. Lastly, the 7 princes of Garah, the only living reminders of the nation's royal family. As your humble Military Commander, I hope you accept these gifts from your success of the fallen nation." The commander bows on one knee after presenting me with gifts.
"Seems like you did rather well Commander Jeon. It appears the sapphire is as beautiful as the rumors; the trident also did not disappoint. But what am I to do with 7 princes? Put their heads on spikes outside the palace walls? Please explain what you were thinking keeping any members of the royal family alive." I say with a disapproving sigh.
"Forgive me for my insolence your highness but I thought they could be an excellent show of power at the upcoming ball." Commander Jeon says piquing my curiosity.
"Show of power? Please go on commander." I say allowing him to continue.
"Your highness, the five major nations royal members will be attending this ball as you are aware, but now with the fall of Garah, it will only be the other three opposing countries. I figured having some of the fallen Garah princes by your side would show the strength in your great nation, and that the future of the world is going to bow at your feet, one country at a time." The commander says with a devilish smirk.
"Oh, how I love that my commander thinks so politically. I will accept your gifts and grant you a wish to show my appreciation." I say smiling back to the ambitious commander.
"May I take some time to think about what I wish for your highness." The commander says, looking hungrily at me.
"Of course, my lovely commander. Anything for my loyal subjects." I smirk back.
"Clear the room, I want to be left alone with my council." I say out lazily.
As the words left my lips the room began to clear and less than a minute later, I was left alone with my chosen council.
