~ Third Person POV ~

It had been several weeks since the captured princes began working under the dukes and count. Most of them adjusting well, some still holding onto anger. But their anger was not necessarily because of the death of their family, but more-so for the fall of their kingdom. There was no love in the royal family of Garah, except between the princes. But the one thing the princes did care for was their people, who were now under the rule of her highness. They have no idea what kind of ruler she is, so the princes worry for their people; but they are happy the overtaking of Garah was swift, and mostly the only death came from the royal family and the corrupted nobles of the palace.

"I adore the queen. Can you believe such a young ruler has such a massive presence? The power she holds in just one finger is tenfold more than our corrupt father." Sunoo says to the group in awe.

"I can't believe you would fawn over a ruler who took everything from us." Jake said rolling his eyes at Sunoo.

"I don't know why you are so upset, it's not like you were going to win the crown." Jay says back nonchalantly.

"Crown or not we lived a life of luxury, now instead of being served, we are the servants." Jake said annoyed.

"You should try to accept our new fate. Her highness has treated us well since our stay began here weeks ago and has not once been cruel to us. We should show her some respect, it appears she is doing well for our people." Heesung replies.

"Sunghoon, did you ever find out why you were picked to serve under the royal advisor?" Jungwon asked, still stuck on the question.

"No, although I have been working with her personal assistant, I rarely come into contact with her highness. The only things I know about her is her schedule, the kind of tea she prefers, her love of flowers, and that she adores her dukes." Sunghoon reports.

"I think we all know how much she dotes on her dukes and their utter obsession of her. I wonder what forms of affection she gives to her dukes." Sunoo chuckles.

"I would assume a lot with how openly she flirts with them." Jay responds still not mega interested in the conversation.

"Every night one of them is summoned to her chambers, occasionally two. Although the count is in and out all day, she has no regular patterns in which she meets with the dukes, they vary by day." Sunghoon says while thinking hard.

"Do you notice when they leave?" Sunoo says with extreme interest.

"No, I have always been excused way before then." Sunghoon responds.

"Scandalous." Sunoo giggles.

"I don't think the queen is like that." Niki speaks up.

"And how would you know? Seems like a harlot to me." Jake insults.

"Because she is extremely gentle, I think you are mistaking her care for her people as something inappropriate." Niki says standing up for her highness.

"Gentle? The queen is far from gentle." Jay chuckles.

"How would you know! I have gotten to spend a little time with her highness, and she has only been good to me!" Niki yells back, fed up with the disrespect from his brothers.

"You've spent time alone with the queen?" Jungwon says a little worried about the youngest one's words.

"Yes, I have." Niki said proudly.

"Why would you do that Niki? She is dangerous." Jake said angrily.

"I understand why you all hold a little resentment towards her, but our parents were horrible to the people of Garah. I understand we might have been able to make a difference when they eventually passed, but how long would that have been? Our country would've been in ruins before Jungwon would've ever taken the throne! This was the best thing for our country! A strong queen, the perfect ruler! She cares so much about her people, like a honest ruler would. She is highly beloved by all of her subjects and feared by her enemies. The royal leaders among the world are corrupt and she is the answer." Niki passionately says to the group.

"I don't think I have ever heard little Niki this passionate." Sunoo replies with a little grin.

"Niki, you need to tell us about your interactions with the queen. I am not saying she isn't trustworthy, but we still do not know her well. We can be wary while still believing in her, so please tell me what has happened thus far." Jungwon says reassuring the boy.

"Well...." Niki begins.
