The boys sat at the table quietly. They were looking at each other curiously. It was almost as if they didn't notice that they were looking at the other version of herself. You turned to look at them while you were cooking, then went back to look at the food. Honestly, you were rather afraid of giving them their food. You knew Allen would be pleased, but what about the other three? You thought and shook your head. If anything, 1p and 2p Canada would take it, and Alfred would complain. But could you take the complaining right now? You would have to. The plates were placed in front of them and you sat yourself at the head of the table. The 1p children to your left, the 2p children to your right. You kept the ones who you were more worried about closer to you: Alfred and Allen. Allen looked happy with his meal. The other one didn't. "Where's the meat?" Alfred said sadly. "No meat today," you say to him, not in the mood for the whining. "Just eat your dinner. Matthew and James at the other end of the table quietly. Every now and then they would look up at each other. When they did, Matt would quickly look back down like he did something wrong. You could only smile at this. No matter how much they didn't listen, they were still adorable. Once they were finished with their dinner you took them upstairs and took Allen and James to go take a bath. As much as they protested, you were making them take a bath at the same time to save time. After they were clean you took the other brothers. There wasn't as much protest, but it was much more of a mess because Alfred wanted to explore. He didn't say that, but that's how he was acting. You didn't blame him either. You did the same thing when you first moved into the house. When they were done, he jumped out and tried to run. You had to grab him, carry him to their room, and force him into his pajamas. After that you opened the door connecting the two rooms. "Good night kids," you said to them. "Good night Ms. (y/n)," they say together. You turn their lights out, looking at them right before you leave the room. When you do, Alfred sits up. At the same time, Allen sat up to. They both looked at their respective brother . It was time to explore!
~Alfred's POV~
As soon as the lady left I got up and jumped out of the tall bed. "Where are you going?" Mattie said. I turned around and he was rubbing his eyes. "I want to look around the house!" I say to him. Who wouldn't? The house was so big, it was just asking for it. Mattie climbed out of bed after me and grabbed my hand. "I'm going with you...." he said softly, so I just nodded and walked out the door with him. It was really dark in the hallways and I could barely see. Neither could Mattie. He held onto my hand really tight and I kept walking through the dark halls. We found a staircase at the end of the hall. They stairs went upstairs. So this house had three floors. "Let's go," I said to Mattie. I walked up the stairs and Mattie let go of my hand. I looked back and saw him standing at the bottom of the stairs. "I don't want to go Alfred.... I looks scary...." he said. I wanted to bring him upstairs with me, but he really looked like he wanted to go back to the room. "Alright," I said to him and smiled. Then, I ran up the stairs without checking to see if my brother went back to the room or not.
~Allen's POV~
I saw the other version of me leave his room. It's odd being in the same building as him or even thinking that he's another version of me. James sat up. "Where are you going?" he said. He sounded a bit annoyed. "I'm going to see where that dummy went...." I said to him. James said he wasn't interested and went back to sleep. So, I ran down the hall and passed the other Canada. I looked back at him while I was running. He wasn't with Alfred. So he must have gone ahead. I ran faster so I could catch up with him. He wasn't exploring this house before I could! I got to a set of stairs and walked up them. When I got to the top there was a door. It was opened a bit so I walked inside. There were huge bookshelves against the walls and they filled with books with odd writing. Alfred was sitting on the floor with one of them. The book was upside down. "What is that?" I looked over his shoulder. He turned the book and shook his head. "I dunno. It kinda looks like one of Iggy's books," he said. Who was Iggy? The book had weird symbols and letters in it. Nothing that we could read of course. This is boring. I walked back to the door, but I couldn't open it. We were locked inside. "Was this door opened when you came up here?" I asked. "Yep," Alfred said. "Why?" He came over to the door and tried to open it, then when he couldn't open it he tried again. "We got locked in?" he asked. I nodded. After standing there for a few seconds we both started hitting the door trying to make as much noise as possible. I didn't want to be stuck up here with him!
