Beau's P.O.V.
The past few weeks have been very stressful. Luke, Isabel, and I have been trying to plan a way for me to propose to Zoey. We've been trying to incorporate things that she likes into the plan. Right now the only thing we have planned is the location of the day and what I will say to her.
I'm getting so nervous because I know we just got out of high school less than a year ago. I just hope she doesn't think it's too early to get engaged.
Luke's P.O.V.
I'm happy for Beau that he's going to ask Zoey to marry him. Even though we just got out of school, it's nice that they can be engaged. Even if they don't get married for another year or two. I'm just happy that he's committed to their relationship.
Zoey's P.O.V.
I'm excited and suspicious. Beau, Luke, and Isabel have all been acting suspicious lately around the house. Whenever I ask them what they're talking about, they deny everything. I just hope that whatever they're planning isn't something bad.
**Third Person**
Beau, Luke, and Isabel finished the plan. They decided that Beau would have a limo pick up Zoey from the house and bring her to the boardwalk. Once there, she would be led to a table set for two on the edge of the pier. She would sit down and wait until Beau showed up. They'll have a normal meal and then he would propose. It's a little risky but they think it'll work.
Beau's P.O.V. (Sorry for doing his p.o.v twice)
It's a little hard to write out a speech to propose with. I've never been that good at writing essays or speeches for school even and this is way more important. I'm still extremely nervous about the whole thing. What if she says no? What if she thinks it's too early?
My mind was racing with thoughts until I was startled out of my thoughts by a knock at the door. "Come in", I said. The door slowly opened and Luke walked in, closing the door behind him. "You okay?", he asked.
"Ya, I'm fine. I'm just really nervous.", I replied. "It's natural to be nervous Beau. You're about to propose to your girlfriend. I would be freaking out if I were in your position." He added.
"Do you want to hear what I have so far?" I asked. It would be nice for an opinion on my speech because it's so important. "Sure", Luke said.
Zoey, since the first day I laid eyes on you, I knew there was something special about you. You were so sweet and funny. We even had quite a few things in common. I've already spent a lot of time with you and I don't know what I would do without you. I don't want to even imagine life without you. You've changed me so much for the better. You even stayed by my side when I was in a coma and could've died. You spent five months sitting in a hospital chair next to me and I didn't even have a good chance of waking up. I could never thank you enough for not giving up on me at the beginning. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. From now until I die. Nothing will ever separate us. So, Zoey Lily Thompson, will you marry me?
When I looked back. at Luke, he had tears running down his face. "What's wrong"?, I questioned. "I'm just so happy for you. You've finally found someone you want to stay with.", Luke replied.
"Mom would be so proud. " he added. I just hope she can attend the wedding.
