It was 6:30a.m. and my alarm clock went off. It was my first day of school at my new school in Melbourne, Australia. I was excited but also nervous. I had no friends in Melbourne because I had just moved here less than a week ago from California. To make things worse, it was also the first day of my senior year.
So, I got up and put on my favorite 5sos t-shirt and my black skinny jeans. I went down stairs, ate breakfast, and walked to school. When I got there, I entered the hallway and everyone was staring at me and whispering. I was terrified. I started walking down the hall and all of a sudden I feel a tug on my shirt. I turn around and there was a girl in black jeans and a Pink Floyd t-shirt staring at me.
Girl: Hi! My name is Isabel. Are you the new girl?
Me:Ya. My name is Zoey.
Isabel asked if I knew where I was going and I replied no. She told me I had to go to the office to get my schedule so she took me there. On the way there Isabel told me we would be best friends and she would help me get to my classes.
