"Diagon Alley!" shouted Luna, throwing the floo powder into the fireplace.

It roared around her, she saw the living room and chimney sweep whizz past her until the dripping boiler finally appeared.

"Luna!" Hermione and Harry were already there. Luna stepped aside so that her father wouldn't land on top of her.

"Hello," she said dreamily, "too bad I have to wait another year to come to Ravenclaw.""But we're still on holiday now," Harry said and ran to the fireplace to greet Ginny, who was coming behind Xenophilius, having flooed straight from the foxhole.

"Hello, Harry," she said and had to pull herself together not to kiss him. That wasn't normal for ten-year-olds.

"Hey, Ron," he greeted his friend as well. "Is Percy back...?""Yup," Ron's face darkened, "that means enduring over three weeks of showing off and some blah blah blah."

"Yeah, and -" "Watch out, the twins are coming!" chirped Luna and at the last second, Ginny, Ron and Harry managed to dodge the two identical rumblers' successors.

"Don't worry, Fred knows," grinned George and joined the 'in the know'. "Here we go?"

Five minutes later, they sped down Diagon Alley in a large cluster. "I want an owl!" Harry begged his parents, "I can choose one."

Luna saw Hermione grin. "Yes, mum and dad! I want a pet too!""Why you're even asking is beyond me," said Mrs Potter. Luna followed them into the shop.

Her eyes immediately fell on the wise owl sitting on a perch above the door. "Harry," she said, tapping her friend from behind.

"Yes?" - "I've spotted Hedwig, up there." "HEDWIG!" cried Harry overjoyed and held his arm out to the owl.

She flew to him with a caw.

"That's quite a bird you've got there, Mr Potter," said the shop assistant, "we call him Gizmo.""That's Hedwig," Harry said firmly.

"As you wish. And this young lady here ... Crookshanks. Yes, big, wilful critter." Hermione actually arrived with her old cat. Ron acknowledged this with a roll of his eyes.

"Luna? Don't you want an animal too?" asked Mrs Potter.

"That owl there," said Luna, "that's Pandora."And that settled the matter.

Harry and Hermione went to Ollivander's, followed by Ron, Ginny and Luna.

"Ah... Mr Potter, there they are." Harry looked up at the old man.

"Let's get started." And while the measurers began to measure every one of Harry's non-existent freckles, Garrick Ollivander walked up and down the rows of shelves.

"Oak, nine inches, dragon heart fibre, really whips."

Ollivander handed Harry the wand. He waved it around half-heartedly, trying not to break any glass.

"No, no, no. Another one."

Neither cherry nor palm frond was right. Finally, the spellcaster found Harry's old wand: holly and phoenix feather.

"A beautiful wand!" said Mrs Potter happily. "You know, you're even allowed to do magic in Diagon Alley."

Harry's face shone and Hermione looked delighted too. She looked at Neville, Ron and Harry once, then they spoke at the same time: "Expecto Patronum!"

A stag from Harry, an otter from Hermione, a Jack Russell terrier from Ron and a lion from Neville jumped out of their wands.

Mrs Weasley looked at her son in bewilderment, Percy in amazement and Fred and George grinned.

"Ron, give me that," Ginny whined and took Ron's wand, "thanks. Expecto Patronum!"Ron's Patronus paled as it no longer held him upright, instead a proud stallion was now leaping about.

"There you go, thank you." With these words, Ginny turned round and stroked Hedwig.Luna discovered a note, small and narrow.
"For Ginny, Harry, Luna, Neville, Hermione and Ron," it said."Cool action with the Patroni! Draco."
