Chapter 7

Babe's P.O.V

After freeing Hudson from the toilets grip We decided to take a little break by snack time but at the same moment we sat down Dub called 'ugh doesn't he know the perfect time to call?' I said annoyed but still continued to eat my chips as Trip picked his Dad's call "Hey! Hey! What's up game shakers!' He shouted into the phone 'hey Dub what's up' Kenzie said "Bunny's pants are on fire that's what happening" he said back laughing and ending his statement with an Ha! As we saw Bunny running around trying to jump into the ocean to put the fire off

'woah what happened who lit him up or how did he get his pants on fire' I asked as I continued eating the chips and pretended to be intrigued by what was happening but was actually just entertained watching them 'well there was this fire breather or blower who was entertaining us,I dared Bunny that he couldn't do it and when he tried the fire came out of his butt instead Ha!' Dub explained as we all chuckled and saw Bunny coming out of the ocean soaking wet and Ruthless helping him up ' hey Dub we gotta go it's nearly our closing hour so we have to clean up the place with the others.

The other employees that is' I said as I took the phone from Trip getting ready to cut it 'ok will call again tomorrow morning guys gotta go help take Bunny to the doctor hahaha!' Dub said while laughing 'ok bye Dub,bye guys,bye Bunny, bye Ruthless ' we all said as I ended the call 'ok guys time to clean this place up then go home' I said as we helped the cleaners tidy up the place to make it faster and locked up the building ourselves. Each of us has a key to the building except for the employees

The next morning

After I and Kenzie cooked breakfast, Tomika and her friends came down all dressed and ready to go 'Morning guys breakfast is on the table' I said  as I was on my phone checking our schedule 'Morning, goodmorning' they all chorused 'So how was ur rooms? Any complaints?' Kenzie asked "Oh no,the room was awesome, I can't believe you guys own a mansion!" Summer said still astonished about the buildings "Well with enough money you can do anything,wait till you meet Double G,he'll teach you more about money, this" Babe gesturing to the whole mansion "is nothing, now eat fast before we are late to work" I said as I put a toast in my mouth and grabbed my phone and purse

"Hey game shakers,wassup gameshakers" Babe and Kenzie called out when they entered the building with the school of rock band
"Hey boss,morning guys" Trip and Hudson replied

'yeah we've practiced our songs yesterday night' Freddy said 'ok guys can we hear a little bit of the song without the instruments please I said as I got distracted by my earpod intercom speaking 'Hold on please' I excused myself from the conversation and answered the call 'ok speak, what!' I bite back and Trip answered and said 'hey where are you guys the second game we made still has a lot of bugs in it, cause for some reason it just keeps glitching and at some point it stopped working and when I wanted to reopen it,it is stuck at the loading screen' Trip ranted 'hey,hey chill out, breathe okay we are on our way we'll be there in five and keep an eye on Hudson would you' I said to him to reassure and calm him as I soon noticed the others looking at me questionly as I ended the call there . 'We gotta get there asap,the game's glitching,again!' I told Kenzie the others listening in to our conversation
As we got off the train my earpod alerted me of a call from Henry as I tapped the ear pod to pick his call 'hey love' I said as I picked his call smiling a little bit 'Hey Babe good morning' he replied ' morning love are you at work now?' I asked him 'yeah I am' he said as I heard someone collect the phone from him and said ' hey Babe,how are you? It's been a long time since we've spoken' Charlotte said 'yeah it has' I said back as Kenzie collected the phone from me to speak with Charlotte and after they've spoken she gave me the phone back and Charlotte back to Henry
"Hey babe still there?" He asked as we rounded the corner to the building 'yes I am' I answered him " your birthday is coming up soon right?, what would you like for your birthday" he said making me smile 'awwn you remembered,anything would be alright but spending it with you would be the highlight of my day' I said hopeful that he would answer positively

"Hmph (he sighed) you know I can't come because of work Babe,I'll make it up to you another time. I promise" he said as I sighed the smile leaving my face "ok Henry bye I gotta work too,talk later ok?" I said to him as we entered our company building "ok love,bye" he said quietly almost like a whisper "bye love, bye Charlotte" I said as I ended the call 'ok whenever you are done with your lovey dovey stuff could you come help fix this stupid game?' Trip said as he threw the game console down and stood up

"Yeah at least that will help get my mind off things" I said as I went closer to Kenzie. 'Uh can I help? I know a lot about programming and coding too ' Lawrence asked sheepishly as all eyes turned to him when he started talking because he hasn't talked that much since he arrived
'Uh sure you help Kenzie while Zack and Freddie help out Trip and Hudson with trying out the games and Mr. Finn,Tomika and I are in charge of setting things up such as the stage and instruments for your songs and also in charge of security' I said with a strict facade on making everyone nod and pair up with each other as I spoke, getting to work quickly

Kenzie's P.O.V

'Has she always been like that? Like a strict and bossy person?' Lawrence asked as everyone paired up into groups to get the work done faster "no not really,she was always fun and hated working but times change and we get more mature over the years and with that also comes a lot of challenges and heartbreaks" I explained to him with a sad smile which made him nod in a silent affirmation to his question 'I get it I'm sorry, it wasn't my place to ask' he apologised with a small smile and I immediately replied to him to make him realise that I didn't take any offence to his questions " its alright I get why you would think so,we've all seen and experienced a lot but Babe has seen more because she's the one that tries hard to always protect us from the hardships of life,she has had a very hard time growing up, the details of the story is her's to tell not mine but I would tell the readers (Shsh)" I said as he nodded in understanding and we got to work debugging the game
