It's me, Kaden,your bestfriend since kindergarden?, Wait you'll remember this!" He said when he saw that I couldn't really recall so  he showed me his wrist which held the lightup friendship bracelet my parents bought for me for my last birthday with them,he only had half of the bracelet. I brought up my hand revealing the other half of the lightup bracelet, I pushed the button to see if his will light up which it did. "It's really you" I said in disbelief as I hugged him after coming back from my own shock

you been? It's been so long we've caught up with each other right? We basically lost contact after a few months" Kaden asked "oh yeah, I guess we just got busy with our lives after the incident" I blurted out to him looking sad while saying 'the incident'. "Yeah sorry about your parents, they were the best-" he was trying to say when his friends called him

across the cafe "Yo! Kaden! Come on let's get going or we are gonna be late,again!" A blond tall guy shouted to him "Coming... give me a sec" he answered "I got to go Mika, my friends are waiting for me outside... but do you think I

can get your number before I go" He said hurriedly packing his to go cups after giving me his phone"uh sure,yeah" I typed my number into his phone and gave him back "Bye Tomiks,it was nice seeing you again" he said waving bye to me before leaving the cafe shop.

After getting back to our table,you could already imagine all the attention and questions directed at me, even my spaced out sister suddenly payed a lot of attention which almost made me laugh if I wasn't weirded out by it. "Why are you guys looking at me like

that? He's just a friend ok?" I said already knowing what's on their minds before they even said it
"Uh uh" Summer said looking suspicious "Ok guys, shut up! So... give us the deets sis,who the h**k was that?"

"Remember Kaden, the next door neighbour when we were little?"
"The one who you hanged out with?" Babe asked "Yeah,well that was him" I told her as I started eating while they meaning Babe took in the news. "Uhm ok... so

anyone gonna explain to the two of us?" Summer asks "Sorry girls,so technically when we were little, Our Dad was assigned a job in a new area of New York, he had us move into a new house so as to be able to be closer to his

place of work. We had to change schools which wasn't that easy for me but Tomiks took it pretty well being for her age as she was still 5 years old at the time, We were to attend the same school, my first day was a disaster but basically Mika had made some friends and one was coincidentally our next door neighbour, they became besties and did every damn thing together which became annoying for me but after our parents died and Tomika moved they lost touch and well end of the story" Babe said as she drank her drink

"Until now that is" Kenzie said
"Yeah, but he has new friends now" I said dejectedly "that doesn't mean he won't make time for you" Summer said "and I got to admit it, he's kinda cute" Babe said making me remember the way he looked, his brown hair was a little bit longer,he wasn't using his nerd glasses anymore and he looked more muscular? I sigh
"Can we change the subject please..." I said as the girls moved to other topics like the game we are making and what we enjoyed the most in our day so far,Kaden long forgotten.
