Khushi got ready very early although she didn't have a good sleep at night she woke up couple of times and as usual vedang helped her to sleep again.
She is going to be law graduate today if she pass.
Vedang woke up and saw her getting ready for her convocation.
Vedang: Good morning khushi.
Khushi smiled and said: Good morning to you too.
Vedang: best of luck...
Khushi: thank you....
After a little pause Khushi said "papa would be so proud today"
A tear escaped her eye.
Soon both of them went to dining hall for breakfast.
Malti: Khushi you should know that we all are so proud of you.
Khushi: thank you aunty.
It was much needed.
Yamini: your papa would love to see you as a lawyer from heaven.
Khushi: indeed.
And get ready fast maa.
Yamini: for what?
Khushi: for my convocation ceremony.
I told you a week ago that you have to be there with me.
Yamini: beta a week ago your father was here with all of us but now he is not.
Khushi: i know maa but you should come with me.
Yamini: you can take Malti aunty or vedang they are also your family my daughter.
Khushi couldn't argue further and she looked at Malti.
Malti smiled and said "I would love to beta but yaha Mai Yamini ko akela nhi chodd kr aa skti"
Khushi thought that Malti has a valid point.
Malti further added "you can take ved with you".
Khushi looked at vedang and he nodded assuring he will go with her.
Vedang in this time period got to know that Khushi is an overthinker.
If he would deny she would overthink that no one loves her and no one is happy as she is graduating.
He don't want her to think all of that so he agreed.
Both of them reached her college and soon Khushi went backstage leaving vedang at the sofa which her college had set up for guests.
The convocation started.
Vedang didn't have to wait for Khushi as she topped the college.
So her name was announced really soon.
He clapped the loudest and smiled when Khushi looked at him from stage.
Soon he was called on stage for a picture.
He went there and clicked a picture with Khushi.
Probably their first picture without wedding dresses.
The college staff gave vedang a mic and was told to say what he feels.
Vedang: I am really proud of my wife and being added to that her father Mr. Jai singh would be proud on her too.
Khushi we wish you nothing but love always and we all love you.
Khushi was smiling during whole speech but when he said "we all love you" She just went blank and looked at him.
She thought probably just for the speech.
Soon after that both of them reached home and Khushi was full of happiness just like her name told everyone her result they all hugged and congratulated her.
She went to a place where her father's and father in law's picture was hanged. She prayed in front of them.
