She hated having to be dragged back to the place she tried to escape from her sister's grasps. She saw the woman, and truth be told she was shocked to see that she was real. She tried to tell her sister that this was the woman that showed herself in those vivid dreams, but she could not let anything out. Not even a single word out.
"Sorry, um my name is Althea Bastiaan, and that girl over there who is trying to give me a death glare is my twin sister Dublin. Dublin, stop staring at me like you want to throw me to shark infested waters, and be nice...." She could hear her sister stutter to find the right words to introduce herself, and of course her as well.
She didn't blame Althea. If only she knew who she was speaking to, then she would have been tongue tied like her. She had no other choice than to go back to her sister and of course greet the woman that has been visiting her in her dreams since the time she turned 18.
"Sorry, my name is Dublin Alexis Bastiaan. This is my sister Althea Robynn Bastiaan. But I mean you would already know that." She said while mentally telling herself of how she looked like an idiot trying to say that.
To both their surprise, the woman simply smiled and held out her hand to introduce herself but was cut off by the sound of a man yelling.
"Illi! Let's go." Both girls could hear a tall man calling out to her, but it was clear that the young woman simply chose to ignore him. Whether it was on purpose or something else entirely. Dublin took a good look at who was yelling and it was then that her eyes landed on him. Her heart started to beat insanely loud, and she tried to back away but was rooted to the spot.
"Ignore him. I owe him coffee and well he's grumpy. My name is Rillianna, or Illi for short. I am really sorry for bumping into you. It really was an accident." She said as she smiled and kept ignoring her twin for yelling again.
To Dublin's surprise she didn't seem to mind the fact that this moon goddess was merely talking to mere lycans in her path. So some of the rumors about her were untrue. Thank goodness for that.
However, both Dublin and Althea -more on Althea's side as Dublin knew better than to stare- could not deny the fact that she looked like she came out -
"Straight out of a storybook perhaps?" Illi said quietly with a small giggle. She made the young girl shock and it was clear from the look that she had to hide it with a small cough. All of which Rilli let it slide and simply smiled.
Dublin and Althea were both in shocked. Nobody but the both of them were able to read and know what the other was thinking. Unless...
"Um"
"Uh..."
"Where are my manners, will you two care to join me and my group for some coffee or tea?"
Althea and Dublin looked at each other before Althea nodded.
"We would love to right Dub?"
"Yes, we would." She said trying to clear her throat. Oh what did she agreed to this time.
