After that talk with his mother and the awkward silence that followed, he simply smiled at the way his mother handled the situation he was in.

What was he thinking, it was obvious there was no other situation than THAT situation.

When he was given the nod to go ahead and do what he needed to do, he grabbed Leila's hand again, gave his mother a small sweet smile and ran towards the stairs that led to his and his twin's room.

He was running up the stairs in their pack house with Leila with him.

Something he, his sister, and Leila did as children.

Somethings seriously do not change, even when they are all both grown.

He was weighing on what his mother said so lost in his thoughts.

"Darcy"

He had a hard crash back to reality when he nearly slip by missing one step and grabbed the railing before he could fall on his face.

"You okay?" Leila asked looking to see if he had any bruises.

"Yeah, I'm okay."

"You don't look the part."

"Very funny. What if I was hurt, what would you do?"

"Oh well first of all I would laugh, and then still laugh, and afterwards I would pick you up after I stop laughing."

"You're lucky you're cute."

"If I wasn't?"

"Pray to my mom and wonder about that."

"Pfft."

They continued on to the top until they reached the designated floor, the fourth floor.

"So my mom did mention for you to wear red, and knowing Rilli very well, I know she has a lot of red gowns for you to borrow, or for me to steal so you can wear them."

"And what will Rillianna wear then?"

"Hmmm, last I heard, she was going to wear blue. To match the color of her eyes."

"Well that's settled then. But the gown... can it not be too revealing?"

That got his attention, that he had to turn his head back and stare at her.

"I never said they were. Besides, I don't want any other Lycan to drool over you."

"Well then lover boy, show me the gowns."

"Right this way Princess."

He led her towards Rillianna's room and out of pure habit, simply knocked. Hearing a voice inside, he opened the door to see Rillianna picking out what kind of gown she was going to wear and what she should not be wearing.

"I am not going to bother to ask how you went from downstairs to your room in minutes. So Illi, you must have heard by now, Leila has to borrow one of your red gowns."

Rilli was amused and rolled her eyes before pointing at the other cabinet filled with beautiful red gowns.

"Color coding huh?"

"Piss off Darcy."

"You wish."

"We all know you only wear three colors. Red. Black. White. So if I color code my stuff, this means I got a lot of colors to choose from."

This time it was his turn to roll his eyes and turn to look at Leila with a huge grin on his face. Pointing to the closet where there were literally a lot of red gowns for her to choose from. After a few minutes and a few tries, they all chose one beautiful red gown from the rest.

"You look ravishing in that red gown." He whispered softly in her ear, making her blush and elbowing him on the rib.

Which of course earned a small chuckle from Rillianna.

"Well we're going to my room to see what I should not be wearing."

"Well that would be obvious Darcy, not your birthday suit. I know the ladies would be screaming and fainting, while mated ladies would ogle, but I doubt Leila would want that to happen." Rilli said before turning back to her dilemma.

Darcy rolled his eyes again, and with a twinkle in his eyes, led Leila to his room, and once inside, he turned to her and smiled.

"I was not wrong when I said you look ravishing, and I bet you would even taste ravishing too."

Leila simply smiled at him, leaned on him for support, before landing her lips to his again.
