She stood there watching the entire pack as they started to help with decorating the entire place from the pack house to the edge of the forest.

She simply stood there and watch with a small smile playing on her lips.

She, the woman who bore the royal children of the entire Lycan community.

She, the woman whom these Lycans worship, believing in their own hearts how she blessed them by reducing the pain of their transformation.

Yet, only a few really knew what she was capable of.

She, the Titan Goddess who hid among Lycans and mortals.

She was lost in her thoughts until a somewhat loud bang made her remember where she was.

She saw her son dragging a confused and surprised Leila by the arm.

"Darcy?" She called out to her son.

"Yes mom?"

"Care to explain what is going on? Apart from what Rillianna told me, I would want to know what happened on your end of the story, as well as Leila's side of the story." She said softly as she approached her son and looking up at the son she and her mate have raised so well.

"Well... um... you see... I found my mate and she does not seem to want to be bothered with me because she was surprised and I guess scared to have to be my mate and all that."

Astrea was smiling at the way her son explained.

It was never a big secret, when he was nervous, he would often jumble up or speak too fast that it would take a few tries to understand him.

But she was his mother, and she knew her son perfectly well.

"Uh Darcy, you're speaking too fast. Relax, it's just your mom. Hi Mrs. W." Leila said as she turned to look at Darcy.

Astrea saw the way she looked at him and placed two and two together. However, she did not say a word except to smile at Leila.

"Leila sweetheart, you know you can always just call me Selene or Astrea. You do not need the formalities." She replied with a small sweet smile before turning back to her son.

"So you're saying is you met your mate in the village and what happened next?"

"She..." He said trying to swallow a lump on his throat, which meant to her was something bad.

"You don't have to tell me now little one, but your father and I already know, and we are not mad or disappointed. We expected this. So where are you dragging poor Leila off to?" She asked with a small playful smile on her lips.

"He was going to drag me to Rilli's room so I can borrow some gowns to wear for tonight's party."

"Oh how delightful. Make sure you wear red sweetheart. Red looks beautiful on you." She said as she nodded them both off.

She strolled back to where she was standing and saw her husband and mate on her spot.

"Lykos."

"Astrea."

"Why are you not prepared for the party tonight?"

"I am wondering how far our son can take the rejection and what he is going to do about it after." He said muttering quietly so only his wife could hear.

"Judging from the look on Darcy's face and that of Leila, they seem to be fine being each other's partners in crime. But I know it would not be fair for Leila's future mate too."

Her husband only nodded in approval but did not give his two cents.

She was deep in thought before she spoke up again.

"I have a feeling this party would not just be another ordinary parties we hold for a reason." She said to Lykos with that silver glint in her eyes.

Her husband knew her well enough to nod and smile.

"I look forward to what you have in store for this party my love."

"Well then, watch and learn."
