Our Time Will Come ~ 𝒲𝑜𝑜𝓈𝒶𝓃

Here we are, it's the D-day. I'm going to see BTS, Yeonjun, and Wooyoung again. Big meeting day.

I head to the train station and board a 4-hour train. It'll get me there by 7:10 pm, a little before Wooyoung's and Yeonjun's.

I've felt lonely these past few days. I miss Hyunjin to a degree you can't imagine. I hope the concert will lift my spirits.

Seated at my place, I put on my earphones as the train starts moving. Many of my songs remind me of Hyun. I start reminiscing our old memories, and they make me sad.

So I avoid the songs we used to listen to together and try to think of something else. The concert. Wooyoung. Will I be able to forget Hyunjin like I managed to forget Woo? No, stop thinking about Hyun!!

After struggling against my thoughts for almost the entire journey, I finally arrive in Busan and take a bus that drops me off at the concert venue. The queue is immense, people are already entering the building.

I wait for a few minutes watching the endless queue move. Occasionally, I check if I can see the guys coming. Finally, I smile when I see their two little heads.

They're walking toward me but haven't seen me yet.

S: Heeey!! - I shout waving at them.

WY: Sannie!!!

With a big smile, Wooyoung comes up to me and hugs me. I see he hasn't lost his old habits, and it makes me happy. Even if his embrace lasts only a few seconds, it feels good. I think I'm craving hugs.

S: Long time no see, Yeonjun, what's up??

YJ: I'm on fire and you!?

S: Same, I warn you guys you're not ready for this! It's gonna be insane.

YJ: Daaamn, I can't wait!!!

WY: Me neither!!!

The two boys are over-excited. I smile, glad to see them again. We were right, it's not weird at all, it's very normal. Like if we saw each other yesterday.

We take our place in the queue which has finally got shorter, it's moving quite fast.

YJ: Where's your seat, San?

S: Category 1.

YJ: Oh lucky bastard!

S: My wallet said the same - I say, making the guys laugh.

S: Are you two next to each other?

YJ: Yeah.

WY: Sucks that we're not all three together!

S: Yeah for sure, but you'll hear me scream from cat1 so it'll be a bit like I'm with you!

We finally enter through the entrance after having our tickets checked. We try to navigate by looking at a map.

S: You guys need to go that way and I go left.

WY: At the end of the concert we meet outside in front of the main gate, San?

S: Yeah.

WY: See you later then!

S: Drool well in front of Jimin!

WY: Don't worry about that!

YJ: Have a great concert, San!

S: You too!

We part ways and I head toward the entrance corresponding to my section.

I sit in my seat, I'm very well placed. I have a bird's-eye view of the stage. After a 10-minute wait, the concert starts.

Wow. Somebody help me. Jesus. Gorgeous. Excellent. Unbelievable. Amazing. Spider-Man 2!!

The music, the choreography. Jungkook's voice. I spend the concert screaming my soul out, externalizing the emotions left by my breakup with Hyunjin.

Tonight I feel good, tonight I'm surrounded and thousands of people are screaming with me.

BTS makes me dream. I would like to sing and dance, as they do. I hope that one day I'll succeed. I hope that one day I'll be able to launch myself as a singer.

The concert ends, leaving my brain in shambles. I hurry to get out, eager to meet Wooyoung.

Swept away by the crowd, I walk quickly to our meeting point and as I exit I see Wooyoung breaking into a broad smile when he sees me.

Tonight I feel good. Tonight I'm not alone, someone waited for me and smiled when they saw me.

S: You survived!!

YJ: Wooyoung gave me 3 heart massages, I wouldn't be here otherwise!

WY: He almost fainted seeing Yoongi!!

YJ: I think I'm even gayer than before!!

A burst of laughter escapes my mouth at his remark. We're euphoric. The wind makes my hair dance and I feel few raindrops hitting my face.

In a few seconds, a downpour starts. We start running, trying to escape the rain without even knowing where we're going.

WY: For real, I shed a tear during The Truth Untold!!

S: Damn, I barely resisted!

YJ: A side step right left to my beat!! - he sings while doing the choreography.

S: High like the moon rock with meeee baby!!

Yeonjun laughs.

S: Wait, wait, where're we going?? - I say grabbing Wooyoung's arm.

WY: Yeah, where're we going??

We take shelter under a bus stop and take stock.

WY: Did you eat, San?

S: No, and you guys?

WY: Nope, I'm starving.

YJ: How about a little McDonald's?

S: Sounds good!

YJ: There's one 5 minutes away on foot - he says after checking his phone.

We wait a few moments for the rain to calm down and then resume our journey.

Arriving at McDonald's, we place our orders and sit at a table.

WY: I propose a toast! - he says raising his cup of Coke.

S: It feels like we're drunk, damn it - I exclaim exasperated but amused.

Yeonjun imitates Wooyoung and raises his glass.

WY: I propose a toast to the concert and our reunion with San.

I raise my glass as well. It's weird. My heart's beating fast, yet I feel at peace.

S: To the concert and our reunion - I say with a smile.

Conclusion of Chapter 26: Yeonjun is even gayer than before.
