My Prince Charming

Chapter 10: Date Night

Prince went over to his mother's house. Jacobie and her cousins were playing outside. He parked in thea driveway and all the kids ran towards him. The minute he stepped out they jumped on him.

Maddilyn: Jacob!

Jacobie: Daddy!!!

Noah: Prince!!

Prince: Hey! Y'all having fun?

J,N,M: Yess

Prince: Good. Now go play. I need to talk to the Adults.

They ran off to play.

Prince: Hey mama.

Theresa: Hola baby.

Prince: Jacobie been good?

Theresa: Why would you even ask that? She's a sweetheart.

Prince: Just checking.

Theresa: Okay now. You hungry?

Prince: Not right now, but I need to ask you something?

Theresa: Of course honey.

Prince: There's this girl that I like. We just met recently and I don't know how to ask her out.

Theresa: Well, what does she like?

Prince: She likes Mexican food. She isn't into super romantic stuff.

Theresa: Well as a woman, and based off of what I just heard, I suggest you take her to Fun Zone and get some Taco Bell afterwards.

Prince: Ok, but how do I ask her?

Theresa: Say something like, "Hey Destiny, you're cool. Do you want to go out tonight? Anything to that effect.

Prince: Thank you. How do know it's Destiny?

She just smirked.

Theresa: I'm a mother. I just know.

With that she walked out to the kids. Prince just smiled and shook his head. He followed her out and stayed there for about an hour. He was leaving and Jacobie ran to him.

Jackie: Papa can we go for ice cream?

Prince: Sure princess.

The kids piled into the jeep and Prince drove off to the shopping center. The ice cream parlor was beside the store where Destiny worked. They went inside, got there ice creams, and sat down. They were all talking kid stuff when Destiny walked in.

Jacobie: Hey Destiny!

She ran over and hugged her. Prince and her caught eyes.

Destiny: Hey Jacobie.

Prince: So what are You doing here?

Destiny: I'm on my break and I wanted some ice cream.

Jacobie: Want to sit with us?

Destiny: If it's okay with your dad?

Jacobie: Can she daddy?

Prince: Of course.

Jacobie: Yay.

Destiny: Well, I'll go get my ice cream.

Destiny ordered her ice cream and sat with them for about 15 minutes.

Destiny: Well, my break is over and I know you guys have to go.
