The next morning Destiny and Prince woke up for work. Destiny got Jacobie ready for school and fixed breakfast. Prince showered and got dressed. Jacobie looked a little down this morning.
Jacobie: Good morning Destiny.
Destiny: Good morning sweetie. You ready for school?
Jacobie: Not really.
Jacobie is usually excited for school. Something is definitely wrong.
Destiny: What's wrong? Is someone messing with you at school?
She nodded her head and played with her food.
Destiny: Do you need me to come there with you?
Jacobie: I'm fine Destiny. Thank you though.
Destiny: Anything for you.
She ruffled her curls and cleaned the rest of the kitchen. Prince overheard the conversation but didn't interrupt. He admired the way that his girls were bonding. Soon after Jacobie finished eating, it was time to take her to school. They all filed into the car and were on their way. Once they pulled into the school, Destiny walked Jacobie in.
Jacobie: Bye Destiny. Tell Papa I said bye too.
Destiny: I sure will.
As Jacobie walked away she turned and ran back to Destiny for a hug.
Jacobie: I wuv you Destiny.
She ran back off to her class. Destiny was so surprised but She walked back out to the car with a shocked look. Prince chuckled.
Prince: What's wrong beautiful?
Destiny: Jacobie...She said she loves me.
Prince: Aww my babies are getting along.
Destiny: Shut up.
She giggled. Prince drove Destiny to work and filled up with gas and left to begin his day.
Later on...
Since Prince had to work over time, Destiny called Nicole.
Nicole: Wassup girl?
Destiny: Hey boo, I'm on my break and I was wondering if you could take me to pick Jacobie up from school?
Nicole: Jacobie?
Right, Nicole doesn't know about Jacobie.
Destiny: Princeton's daughter.
Nicole: He has a daughter?
Destiny chuckled at Nicole.
Destiny: Look, I'll explain later but right now I need to go get her.
Nicole: Alright, I'll be there ASAP.
Destiny: Thanks boo.
A minute or two later, Nicole pulled up.
Nicole: So explain to me.
Destiny chuckled.
Destiny: Ok.
