Chapter 6 - The Role of A Sister

After the wedding, it was a bit crazy to know that I was now the official sister of the Asahina brothers. Dad and Mom had to leave a certain afterward to tend to their honeymoon. We all saw them depart at the airport after we made said our farewells.

Dad and I hugged and I spoke, "Take care, Dad."

"You take care too, Naomi," Dad smiled as he pulled away.

Mom hugged me as well, "We'll see each other again and go shopping for sure!"

I hugged her back, "I'll be waiting!"

We pulled away.

 My Dad looked at my brothers and waved, "Take care of Naomi all right! I leave her to you all!"

"Yes, Dad," the brothers said in unison as Dad smiled.

Dad and Mom held each others hand while rolling their luggage as they walked away from us.

My brothers waved as I watched them leave with a smile.

Take care, Mom and Dad. I love you both.

I sent all the pictures to Yuki and she immediately replied by text, "Awesome! The wedding ceremony looked so beautiful! Can't wait to meet your brothers in person when I am free! Take care always! Love, Yuki"

I grinned at her text as I took the pictures and started to place them in my photo book where I decorated the pages and labeled it "Wedding Day".

The next day..

It was Sunday as I chose to relax in my room for the first time in forever since I have so busy with school.

I stayed asleep on my bed until around 10 in the morning.

I woke up and stretched my arms sitting up.

Today was not only the first time I can relax, but it was the first time that I truly became the sister of my 13 brothers.

I yawned as I chose to get up to eat breakfast.

I went to the 5th floor and walked downstairs to see some of my brothers sitting in the living room and sitting in the dining room.

"Woah! Look who finally woke up," Masaomi spoke as everyone looked at me yawn again.

"Good morning, guys," I said casually as I walked, still a bit sleepy.

"Good that you're up. Breakfast is still pretty warm," Ukyo spoke with a smile as he stood in the kitchen.

"Thank you." I sat down where I usually sit where there was a plate, fork, and spoon for me. Then I looked at the table with surprise, "Did you guys eat already?"

Then, I noticed that everyone were walking to the table and sat down where they usually sit.

Everyone yelled, "Itadakimasu!" (Thank you for the food!)

My mouth was open as everyone ate with happy smiles and did not look my way.

My mouth fell into a smile as I blushed slightly, "You guys...."

I started to eat, keeping my smile, and added, "You didn't have to wait for me to wake up."

Everyone stole glances towards me as everyone smiled at how happy I was.

During the day, I did various chores like helping Ukyo do the laundry as in taking care of the linens. I went to the rooftop to dry them on the clothing lines, but I couldn't really reach.
