"Let's go, boys," Ren says as she looks at the two mutants beside her. Logan, Wade, and Ren are all geared up and ready for battle. Ren is ecstatic to have an excuse to dawn her Mandalorian Stark-Tech armor for the first time since the Battle of Deus.
The trio stands a few hundred yards from the entrance of the Apocalypse Tech Corp compound, hidden in the darkness as they're surrounded by a dense forest. "Right...okay... one more time, so what's the plan?" Wade asks and Ren sighs.
"DP, you're the distraction. I'll get the kids out of there while Wolverine destroys the lab. Sound good?"
"Good, because I'm great at distracting."
"Damn right, you fuckin' are. I'm extending my telepathic connection to DP. If anything goes south, send me a signal and I'll get in contact with Nightcrawler for an early extraction. If everything goes correctly, Elf will 'port the kids out of there once I free 'em and I'll fly you and Wolverine out of there," Ren explains and Logan nods while Wade tilts his head at her.
"That's one hell of a continuity error. Since when can you 'extend' your telepathic connection?" he asks, and Ren sighs.
"Give her a break. There's a lot of moving parts to this plot."
