The succubus groans awake to find herself back in the master bedroom at the Sanctum Sanctorum. She opens her eyes slowly and sits up to see Stephen standing beside her.
"Hey," he mumbles.
"Hey," she responds and looks around. "Where's Clea?" Stephen stays quiet, ignoring her question as he picks her up from the bed. "Where the fuck are we going?" She yawns, but the sorcerer remains silent as he carries her bridal style to his study, where Clea is in the process of setting up the supplies needed for an exorcism. Ren looks around her and lets out a soft chuckle. "You really think a fuckin' exorcism is gonna help? This isn't exactly a human possessed-by-a-demon type of situation, Stephen. If you wanted to physically torture me, all you had to do was fuckin' ask. I can even give you some pointers. First tip, an exorcism is a lame form of torture."
"Ren, shut up," he says, and the succubus quiets herself with a frown, her demeanor quickly reflecting that of a scolded puppy.
"I'm sorry."
Stephen lays her in the center of the floor and lets out a heavy sigh. "I know. Me too."
He looks up at his wife, who nods at him and she motions her hands to bind Ren to the floor with sorcery, keeping the succubus from moving and lashing out in response to the ritual.
"This won't work," the succubus says, looking up at the sorcerer standing above her.
"I won't kill you," is all he responds with, and the two sorcerers begin the process of attempting to exorcize her father's life force from her being.
