From the hotel, the crew had been taken to a Japanese game show studio for their first challenge, which was a game of human pinball. Chef and Chris led the contestants from the bus through the television studio building like a pair of chaperones on a kindergarten field trip. Chatter was prevalent along the trek due to how far back in the building the human pinball studio was. Apparently, it needed to be in the back of the building due to the size required for the life-sized pinball machines.

Y/N was still upset about what had happened earlier, so she listened to music and kept to herself during the long walk.  With her tunes blasting, she caught something in her peripheral vision-- a skinny boy with a round face and brown hair.

"H-hey, Y/N?" Cody stutters. Y/N cannot hear due to her earbuds blasting sound through her ears. Cody repeats himself, this time taping her gently on the shoulder. This time, she removes one of her earbuds and looks over at him.

"Yeah?" She asks flatly, glancing over at him with thinly veiled contempt.

Cody fidgets with his sleeves. "I-I was wondering how you've uh... been?"

"I'm okay."

"Oh? J-just okay? I mean-- you aren't still mad at me, right--" Cody's speech is then suddenly cutoff.

"What kind of question is that?" She exasperates. "Why wouldn't I be mad? Why wouldn't I be upset that my boyfriend was snuggling with another girl?!" Her voice becomes louder, causing Cody to flinch and cower.

"Y/N, please... It wasn't what it looked like at all..."

"Just leave me alone!" she sighs

"But--" Cody starts before Heather hops in.

"Get lost," Heather scoffs at Cody. "She clearly doesn't want to be bothered," As she says this, she grabs Y/N's hand. Y/N notices this and glances down at the sight of their hands clasped together before she looks back at Heather with confusion in her eyes. Heather quickly pulled her hand away, attempting to act as if nothing happened.

"Heather, what was that for?" Y/N asked.

"Shut up." Heather replied, now walking beside Y/N as they made it to the giant pinball machine.

Once each team was set, they were made to choose which of their teammates would go inside of the giant pinball with the rowdy panda cubs. Y/N's team argued over who should go into the pinball. The clashing personalities of nearly everyone on that team made it hard for them to actually act as a team. As Courtney, Gwen, and Heather bickered, Cody stepped up and volunteered to go into the pinball.

"You guys, I'll just do it!" He raised his voice over their bickering, effectively putting it to an end.

Chris smirked and suddenly had a mischievous glint in his eye. "Too bad we're out of pandas, Cody. You'll be sharing the pinball with Sierra instead!"

Y/N removed her earbud before she objected. "Wait, wait, wait! I'll go in the pinball instead."

Gwen raised a brow at her "You seriously want to go in there with Sierra?"

"I'll be fine. Plus, if you guys want our team to win, you shouldn't let Cody be in the pinball." She glanced over to Cody. "He's too weak to win this one. He'd probably get distracted from being in there with Sierra." She scoffs. Cody put his hands into the pockets of his cargo pants and looked down at his old sneakers.

McClean squints in annoyance. "Have you guys decided yet? We have an episode to record..."

"Are you deaf? Y/N said she'll do it." Courtney says.

As soon as Sierra set foot inside of the human-sized pinball with Y/N, she began to yap, and yap, and yap.

"Y/N, I really really hope you aren't mad over this whole thing with Cody-- I mean, I'm the one who's supposed to be mad. Cody was never yours in the first place," Sierra's chipper voice spoke words of passive-aggression into Y/N's ears. "Like, I'm not the one to blame! He was mine and you stole him from me! You'll never win this, Y/N. . . You'll never win him, my Codywodykins."

"You know what, Stalkerra? I was seriously considering taking your little Disney channel mean girl ass threat seriously until you said that last part." She let out a dry laugh. "You sound stupid,"

"Stupid? Me? Stupid?" Sierra places her hand on her heart in shock. "The only stupid one here is you! You're the one who thinks Cody is your boyfriend when he's mine! He has always been mine!"

"Do you even realize how delusional you are? I've been dating him before you even knew him. You only like him because he's been on TV-- that's probably the only reason why you even applied to be on this show!" Y/N's tone became harsher as she spoke, but then her words and thoughts were interrupted as she lost balance and crashed into Sierra. The giant pinballs were now moving down the ramp and into the actual pinball game.

"Look, let's just stop arguing so we can win this. We need to hit as many pegs as possible to get points here..." Sierra became stern and crossed her arms in an attempt at intimidation.

"Hit as many pegs as possible... so we need to move around a lot..."

"Exactly, so--" Sierra began to speak, unbeknownst of Y/N's plan to body slam her against the  containments of the ball. Y/N tossed herself toward Sierra, slamming her against the walls of the pinball itself. "Hey, what was that for!?"

"It's my way to win this thing. If we move as hard as possible against the pins, we'll bounce off of them harder AND have a higher chance of hitting even more pins when we bounce off."

Sierra nodded and tossed herself against Y/N, crashing her into the walls of the pinball. They took turns doing this in order to manipulate the ball's direction and speed toward each pin. As they effectively tossed each other inside of the pinball, they hit pins, earning a satisfying little ding each time they hit a pin. When the game ended, Sierra was much more battered than Y/N, with a chunk of her dark mauve hair missing at the end.

"You seriously did all that just to lose!? You guys look horrible!" Courtney whined.

"Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to hit Sierra."

Heather laughed. "That is so valid,"
