Cody x Reader Total Drama Island

Our Spot, Eight O'Clock.

YOUR POV:

I waited for Cody on the tree stump in my (f/c) silk and lace nightgown. I started to zone out until he called my name.

"(Y/n)?" Cody asked. He was right on time, eight o'clock. "Why'd you ask to meet here?" 

"Please, sit down." I said calmly. "Do you like anyone besides me?"

CODY'S POV:

Crud nuggets...

 I love (Y/n), but I also still like Gwen. They're both so beautiful. They're both so attractive in their own ways. If I tell (Y/n) the truth, she'd totally dump me.

"W-why would I like anybody else, (Y/n)? You're the apple of m-my eye!"

"Cody...you're stuttering." (Y/n) said in a worried tone. "Please don't lie to me...like he did."

"What do you mean?" What did she mean by he?

"Nothing! Just thinking out loud."

"OK. Well, what made you think that I like anybody else?" I fidgeted with the sleeves of my sweater. "Was it Heather's comment?"

"Yeah."

"(Y/n), I think we should sleep on this. Goodnight.." I stood up and walked away.

~Later~

Chris: Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip. You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake... to Boney Island! When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle.

Geoff: We've gotta pour what?

Chris: "Portage."

Geoff: ???

Chris: Dude, walk with your canoe.

Geoff: Oh.

Chris: When you arrive at the other end of the island, you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me. The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility! Move, campers, move! Oh, wait! One more thing I should mention. Legend has it, if you take anything off the island, you'll be cursed forever!

~Confessional~

"Chris told us to pick a paddling partner. I'm not sure If I should pick Gwen or (Y/n). (Y/n)'s my girlfriend, but I might still have a chance with Gwen, and I haven't spoken to her in a while. I guess I'll choose Gwen!"

YOUR POV

I was on my way to ask Cody to be my paddling partner, until I saw him ask Gwen. Why her? If he wasn't going to choose me, then why wouldn't he pick one of the guys? I ended up pairing up with Leshawna and Izzy I spotted Cody trying to act all manly and lift the canoe into water while Gwen was in it. Did he forget that I exist?

My eyes began to tear up while I blurted out of frustration, "Ugh! Why does he have to be like this?"

"What's wrong? Did you get onion juice in your eye?" Izzy asked.

"No, it's Cody!"

"How'd you get Cody juice in your eye?" (That didn't sound right!)

Leshawna rolled her eyes, "Girl, what kind of harm could a shrimp like that do to make you cry?"

"He's been trying to flirt with Gwen, but I'm his girlfriend!"

"That's a funny joke, (Y/n)!"

"Izzy, I don't think she's joking. People don't cry over boys as a joke." Leshawna said

"Well, my great aunt cried over her husband when I visited her in prison."

"Why'd your aunt go to prison?" I asked.

"For attempted manslaughter on her husband."

"Anyways, (Y/n), you shouldn't be upset over a boy like Cody. You're probably the only one here who actually gives him a chance." Leshawna gave me a pat on the back. "He should be lucky to have a girlfriend like you, and if he can't see that, then he's not worth your time!"

{Timeskip}

I passed the boy cabin as I walked outside to my spot in the woods. It felt like somebody was following me, but I just shook off the feeling. Soon, I arrived at my destination and took a seat. Then, a voice said...

"Hey."

I turned around to see Cody. "What do you want?" I scoffed.

"I just want to talk-"

"About how you're breaking up with me?"

"What? No!" I could see the disappointment in his eyes. "Why would I leave you?"

"I don't know, maybe it's because you're still in love with Gwen? A girl who'll never like you back."

"If this is about the challenge earlier today, I'm sorry." I didn't even want to look at him. Did he think I was dumb? "Listen, I was helping Gwen hook up with Trent. I already know that she'll never like me, and I'm okay with that, but I'm trying to get over it."

I stood up and walked towards Cody to give him a hug. "I'm sorry, I was just overreacting. I-"

He silenced me with a kiss.

"Don't leave me."

"I won't."

A/N: Hello, everybody! I have a new idea. We could continue the book in TDWT where theres a feud between (Y/n), Cody, Sierra, and another character. Maybe Alejandro or Heather depending on how many of you guys are okay with it. I could write two versions, one with Heather and one with Alejandro. Please let me know, I'm not sure if it would be a good decision.
