Team Amazon, Y/N's team, surprisingly won the second challenge in Japan. This meant they would fly in the luxury cabin to the next destination. As the team made their way into first class, they were absolutely ecstatic about their win.

"I can't believe we actually did it," Gwen said. "Do you guys know how unlikely we were to win with all of our arguing?"

Sierra grinned. "All thanks to Cody and I remembering the heart of teamwork. We wouldn't fail you guys, we're a team! Even if I'm only here for my Codywody..." She said the last part in a sing-songy voice.

Heather reclined in one of the seats and had herself a drink. "Sierra, you really carried this time."

Even Y/N, though Sierra had been getting on their last nerve, had something nice to say. "We would've been dealing with endless turbulence if it weren't for you. I don't think I could handle another day AND night of flying freight..."

"Thank you guys so much!" Sierra smiled. "To Team Amazon! Group hug! Come on guys, bring it in!" She exclaimed. They all moved in for a group hug, celebrating their win. Sierra suddenly scowled. "Back off!" The team stalled in confusion for a few seconds before backing away. Y/N, who was next to Cody, refused to move. She glared at Sierra, refusing to let Cody go. Y/N and Sierra held a firm grasp upon Cody's arm--Sierra on the left and Y/N on the right. "What exactly do you think you're doing?" Sierra's eyes bore into Y/N's.

"I think we all deserve a group hug, don't we?" Y/N retorted. "I mean, that is what a group hug is, right? I don't think group hugs only consist of two people hugging."

"Yeah, okay..." Sierra rolled her eyes before her voice grew larger. "But I said BACK OFF."

"Just because you said it doesn't mean I have to listen." She deadpans. Cody's eyes flickered between them both, unsure how this would end.

Cody's voice wobbled. "Guys please don't--"

"Shut up!" said the both of them. Cody stared, and so did Heather, Courtney, and Gwen. Cody didn't want anyone to get hurt; physically or emotionally. The other three were more in awe of how anybody would want to fight over Cody.

"Anyways, I thought I already had this discussion with you." Y/N scoffed. "It's getting ridiculous. Get over him. You're obsessed and he doesn't like you like that!"

"HE DOES TOO! HE DOES! HE DOES! HE DOES!" She began shrieking.

"He does not like you in the same way that you like him." Y/N said flatly, effectively shutting Sierra up. It felt horrible to know that she was losing Cody to Sierra. Sierra didn't deserve Cody--she did. Sierra is a psychopathic fangirl from hell, but Y/N? Y/N knows  is the one that Cody deserves--the one that Cody truly needs. Why he didn't seem to realize all of that, she didn't know. She spent half of her day doing mental gymnastics, simply trying to figure out how Cody feels, who he really wants to be with. Her thoughts were interrupted by Sierra speaking again. Her shrill, nasally voice raped her ears.

"He DOES like me! HE LOVES ME, Y/N!? DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? HE IS MINE!" Tears welled in her eyes. At that moment, Y/N realized that Sierra wasn't the problem. She was never the problem. The real problem was Cody. Cody had been enabling Sierra's behavior from the very start, leading her on, never telling her yes or no.

Y/N let go of Cody and stared at both him and Sierra. "Cody," she sighed. "Isn't this getting old? Aren't you tired?"

Cody looked confused. "What are you talking about?"

"This stupid fucking game, Cody!" Y/N exasperated, making Cody jump. "I'm tired of this. I'm tired of fighting to keep you!"

"Fighting?" He says absent-mindedly. "You don't have to fight to keep me, I'm already yours. Its Sierra who's getting in the way of us, can't you--"

Y/N sighed deeply. What would it take to get through to him? "You're so dense, I swear to God...." She muttered

"What?"

"I said," Her voice raised again "You're dense! You're dumb! You're an idiot, a nimrod, a pussyfooter!"

Cody furrowed his brows in confusion. "Pussyfooter?"

"You have absolutely no boundaries and no backbone. I'm your girlfriend, but you're busy trying not to hurt Sierra's feelings!" Y/N scoffs and steps closer to Cody, towering over him by an inch or two. "I should've known what I was getting into by dating such a dork."

Cody was speechless. He knew and everybody else knew he was a dork, but he had never heard Y/N use the word against him in a literal sense. "Dork? But I'm your dork, Y/N you have to understand...We can fix this, can't we? Please..."

"No, Cody. Its over." As soon as the words left Y/N's mouth, Sierra began cheesing and running toward Cody before tackling him and smothering him with kisses that smelled of cheap lip gloss. Cody wanted to fight Sierra, push her away and tell her everything that he hated about her. But somehow, he couldn't. He didn't particularly dislike anything about Sierra; she was just overbearing. Maybe he did like her deep down? Cody struggled to breathe due to the entirety of Sierra's body weight.

"Can you get off of me?" Cody pleaded "I can't breathe!"

"Oh but Codywodykins.... this is just mama bear's way of showing how much she loves her little codywody kitten...." Luckily, she didn't meow this time.

"Well Codywody kitten doesn't love mama bear!" He says sternly.

"Cody, you don't need to hide your feelings anymore, okay?" She cooed. "Y/N is gone... you don't have to pretend anymore, mkay?"

The rest of Team Amazon, excluding Y/N, who disappeared somewhere, stared at the scene between Cody and Sierra.

"Guys, come on!" Gwen started suddenly before moving toward Sierra, attempting to pry her off of Cody.

Courtney, the type A of the group, began to protest, "Nuh uh, I'm not doing that. I am a valuable member of this team and if we want to keep winning challenges and spending our days in the only habitable part of the plane, I- we cannot risk me getting hurt! I was a CIT! If the only CIT on the team gets hurt then--"

Surprisingly, Heather made her way over to help Gwen. "Courtney, if we want to keep winning challenges, then we need all the members of our team. We've already lost one and we can't risk another." Courtney reluctantly helped Gwen and Heather pull Sierra away.

Cody writhed underneath Sierra in pain. He was being smothered and losing his breath, begging to be set free from her embrace and her kisses. Gwen grabbed hold of Sierra's arm, and both Heather and Courtney took hold of one of her long, solid legs. Each tug elicited a muffed "No!" from Sierra. Because of how heavy Sierra was, the three of them were essentially getting nowhere. As the pulled and pulled, Sierra suddenly cried out in pain and pulled away from Cody. When he was finally free, he seemed to have a used EpiPen in one of his hands--it was the one he carried in the left pocket of his cargo pants for his black, red, and brown ant allergy.

He sat up, caught his breath, and looked between the EpiPen and Sierra before looking at the rest of his team. "I'm sorry guys...I'm so so sorry..." Sierra sat in shock, holding her hand over her heart.  Cody teared up before he realized who he really had to apologize to: Y/N.
