Lion Guard x Love Frenzy

Chapter Eight: I need to see her...

One hour ago...

The Lion Guards were sleeping on a patch of soft grasses at the bottom of Pride Rock. Unaware to them, that some creatures with wicked schemes were crawling towards them...

Bunga, Kion and Beshte were cuddled together, soundly asleep, while Fuli and Ono slept only a few feet away from them. When Bunga, Kion and Fuli were dreaming sweet dreams, they somehow tasted something sweet on their tongues. Bunga even thought (in half sleepy mood) that he was fighting with bees and drinking honey.

Bunga (murmurs in his dream with a happy tone): Mmm...mmm...honey sweet honey, mmm... more! More! More!

Kion, on the other hand, dreamed a figure he yearned desperately for. He had no idea who the figure was. All he knew was that, his heart pounded speedily whenever he saw it and a very warm passion rose up from his belly. He wanted to catch up with the figure and hug it.

Kion (speaks in his dream): Wait for me...wait for me...don't, don't go please!

Fuli had a similar dream but she murmured something different. The three kicked, talked, moaned in their dreams, until Ono was waken up by them. Rolling his eyes, Ono said to them in no-so-delightful tone: Ahem, ahem, guys! Wake up, you're making too much noises!

Bunga kicked Beshte and caused the hippo to wake up as well.

Beshte (pokes Bunga gently): Hey little B, hey, hey! WAKE UP LITTLE B!

Bunga: More, more, honey...ahem...wait...what? (wakes up) Bees? Big...big B? It's you?

Beshte: Little B, it looks to me that you just had a big battle with bees in your honey dream.

Bunga: Well that's not surprising. They don't call me honey badger for nothing! (sniffs) Wait a minute, what smells so sweet and pleasant? (turns his head and sees Fuli) Hey who's that beauty...Oh Fuli? You look...(feeling awkward) prettier today.

Bunga had an odd feeling when he saw Fuli. His face blushed, his head became dizzy and his heart pounded fast. He wondered what was happening to him. Could it be that Fuli put some intoxicating herbs and flowers on her face to make herself appear overly attractive to the others? But... That doesn't sound like Fuli. She would rather practice running than doing things like that.

Fuli: Don't look at me like that Bunga. You...ahem...you're making me feel uncomfortable.

Bunga (face turns red): Re...really? Er...er...(feels more embarrassed) ... Then I guess I will avert my eyes. (speaks in a soft voice) Does that make you feel better, Fuli?

Beshte (is confused): Little B? Are you alright? You don't act like yourself this morning.

Bunga (turns his back to Fuli and avoids seeing her): Of course, of course! I am alright! (But I am not alright honestly. What's this strange feeling coming from down below my belly?) I am just... You know, had a big day...big dream. I need to get some fresh air!

Bunga quickly charged to a pond and jumped inside to cool himself down. Meanwhile, Fuli saw Kion, who was still sleeping at that time, and was enticed by him. For some reasons, she felt Kion was cuter this morning and she had a unspeakable longing to stay close to him. She sat next to him and looked at him with a tender gaze. Kion woke up after a few minutes. Fuli's paws brushed his tail accidentally and she was startled by it. Her face blushed slightly and she quickly pulled her paws back. But she still stared at the tail she touched few seconds before.

Kion (half awake, murmurs): Don't leave me...don't leave...(awake) Fuli?

Fuli (thinks feverishly): OH GOSH OH GOSH, am I dreaming? Did he just tell me not to leave him? No, no, he's only dreaming. Pull yourself together Fuli!
