Ch1: Coffee

Bible never considered himself to be a lucky guy, ever since he could remember he was always alone, always invisible, he got used to it throughout the years but he couldn't deny that it does get lonely sometimes, so he isolated himself from people and always put on the "intimidating introvert guy" mask.

when he was 3 months away from graduating he met this one girl who could see through that mask, a girl who made him forget the feeling of Loneliness, The two lovers decided to get married After graduation, Bible was over the moon, he was in love, he was marrying the love of his life, what could possibly go wrong?

It was their wedding day, Bible was getting ready in his room when he heard a knock on his door, he opened the door only to be greeted by a guy he'd never seen before, "may I help you?" He said with a confused tone, the stranger said something that made all the colours disappear from Bible's face "The girl you're marrying today is my girlfriend, and we've been together for 5 years", Bible couldn't hear anything after that, he couldn't believe his ears, "how can I trust a word you say?!" He yelled at the guy who took his phone out of his pocket and showed Bible pictures and videos of him and his love, the girl he was about to marry and spend a lifetime with, "I'm sorry you had to find out this way but I also didn't know she was cheating on me until today, I'm truly sorry" said the guy and turned around and left a very confused and heart-broken Bible, he felt his chest tighten and his head spinning, he rushed outside and the guests were starting to arrive but he couldn't recognise anyone, everything was blurry to him and all he wanted was to reach his motorcycle and drive somewhere, anywhere as long as it's far away.

Bible was driving as fast as he could, but the thoughts and emotions rushing to him were much faster, there was a lot to process and everything felt suffocating, and he felt like his mind was outside this world.

he kept driving until it got dark and when he regained a bit of consciousness to the present time, he stopped in a neighbourhood that felt so unfamiliar to him, it was empty and only one bakery was open, he took off his helmet and sat on the ground with no energy left in him, his phone kept ringing, it was her, he answered

"Bible! Where are you?!?! Why aren't you answering I was wor-"
"you and l, are over" he said with the coldest tone in the world and hung up, he turned off his phone and threw it in his pocket, and then he felt the weight of everything rush to him and suffocate him until he couldn't fight it anymore and he started crying uncontrollably and all their memories together started playing in his head making it even harder to breathe, he hated this, he felt like he's living in a nightmare, why? Why this is happening to him?!

"good evening little one! How are you tonight?" He heard someone saying these words in a soft and comforting voice, he turned around and someone was sitting outside the bakery, apparently he works there? He was talking to a little kitten while feeding her, Bible kept staring at him because the boy was so cute and not that bad to look at, then he suddenly left his head and their eyes met, Bible got startled and looked away

"are you okay phi?" The boy asked him a bit worried but Bible just nodded his head, the cute boy then stood up and started walking towards Bible with the kitten in his hand, "I don't know what you are going through now phi, but if you need to vent or cry I'm here, or even if you need some company, me and pao pao will gladly sit with you tonight" he said, "pao pao?" Bible asked him with a frown "It's my kitten pao pao!" He left up the kitten to Bible 'meow!'

"Well it's not mine but she comes here every night so I'm thinking of adopting her, what do you think?!" The boy was talking with much enthusiasm yet kindness "I- if you want to then yes?" Said Bible still utterly confused ", "okay then hehe, you heard that pao pao! You are mine now! So, what is your name phi? My name is build but everyone calls me biu" "My name is bible, they don't call me anything, well not anymore " he said with a broken tone, "oh, I see, Mmmm how about I call you ble?!"

'Meow!'
"do you like it pao!"
Bible felt his chest warm, he started to feel a bit at ease for some odd reason
"I like it" he replied with a sad smile,
"So ble, would you like to come inside for a cup of coffee or something? It's a bit cold outside and you look exhausted" biu offered kindly, "I would love to" Bible answered, he didn't want to return to his house, their house, and he did need a cup of coffee to calm his head.

They got up and went inside the small and cozy bakery, "pls make yourself comfortable, I will make the coffee and come back" biu said and went behind the counter, meanwhile pao pao made herself comfortable in Bible's lap, he didn't mind.
He was watching Biu who was making the coffee while humming a song

"𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝑰 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝑰 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝑰 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐~"

He had a lovely voice, Bible thought with a smile on his face, biu had very soft features, fluffy dark brown hair that fell into his face covering his brown eyes a bit, and a cute dimple that bible noticed when Biu was talking to the kitten, "coffee is ready" biu announced sitting on the table with bible, he also brought few cookies and bowl of milk for pao pao, "thank you<3",

They started sipping on their coffee in silence until bible decided to break it "Aren't you gonna ask me why I was crying?"
"No, I do want to know because I'm a curious person, but if you don't want to talk about it I don't wanna pressure you, but I will gladly listen if you need to vent" biu replied with much sympathy.

"I was supposed to get married to the girl I love today, but-" Bible stopped, then took a deep and shaken breath and continued " but apparently she's cheating on me, and I had to find out through her other boyfriend " Bible finished with a sad smile on his face,

Biu looked at him not with pity, but with much caring and genuine warmth "I'm really sorry bible, I wish I could make you feel better but nothing can heal a broken heart this fast, but I know that time will heal everything, you deserve someone who truly cares about you and it's obviously not that cheating Bit- I MEAN GIRL"

bible laughed softly and then said "no, you're right she's a cheating bitch, I can't believe I trusted her, I feel so stupid" he was obviously trying to fight tears and pao pao, as if she felt his pain, crawled to his lap again to comfort him, "no you're not stupid Ble! It's not your fault that you trusted your heart with a terrible person, don't blame yourself for it please!" Biu said looking almost angry, 'cute' thought bible,

"Anyway I don't want to talk about this anymore, thank you for the coffee Biu, I have to go now" he stood up and started to walk but then stopped and turned
"Do you happen to know a place I can sleep in tonight?"
Biu smiled with those dimples but said nothing, 'maybe that's not a good idea' bible thought.
